Relaxing Cumberland River Retreat in Monroe County, Kentucky!

Cumberland River Retreat is located on the banks of the Cumberland River in Tompkinsville, KY and provides a relaxing place for you and your family and friends to unwind from the hectic day to day lives so many of us live!

Enjoy your morning coffee on our spacious porch located within steps of the water's edge, spend your day relaxing, reading, kayaking, or fishing, and spend your evenings by a campfire gazing at the stars and listening to the coyotes howl in the distance. Surrounded by nature and abundant wildlife, you are sure to leave our retreat refreshed and relaxed!

Details about our relaxing retreat:

*Spacious kitchen and dining area perfect for large family gatherings.
*Living room with large screen tv, queen sleeper sofa, and reclining sofa are perfect for movie/sports nights.
*Generous master bedroom has been recently updated with new flooring and paint. Amenities include a king size bed and large tv.
*Recently updated lower level area has new flooring and paint; also boasts a tv area includes a king bed, twin over full bunk, and sleeper sofa.
*River side of cabin has a covered full length porch with peaceful water and wildlife views.
*Front of cabin includes a covered carport area with picnic table.
*Firepit is perfect for s'mores and relaxing evenings.

Our retreat is located 17 minutes from Tompkinsville and 25 minutes from Burkesville. Several Dale Hollow Lake marinas are within 45 minutes. Dale Hollow Lake State Park and Golf Course is about 50 mins.

Cumberland River Retreat is available for weekly and nightly (two night minimum) stays.

Cumberland River Retreat accommodates 13+:
-Master bedroom with king bed
-Bedroom with queen bed (updated 6/23)
-Living room with queen sleeper sofa
-Bedroom area (lower level) with one king bed, queen sleeper sofa, and a twin over full bunk bed

Bedding for sleeper sofas is not furnished (please bring your own if you plan to use them). All bedding and towels are furnished otherwise.

Our retreat is equipped with DSL High Speed Internet, telephone landline, and Direct TV in the living room. All tvs have access to Roku streaming sticks.

Cabin is supplied with a 36” Blackstone griddle for outdoor cooking.

Small events are allowed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional damage deposits and cleaning fees. Please inquire BEFORE booking.

Linens and towels will be provided for the number of guests booked on the reservation. There is a charge of $5 per guest per night over 9 guests.

Note: We are located on the Cumberland River below Wolf Creek Dam and there is no direct access to Lake Cumberland or Dale Hollow Lake. There are no marinas on the river so please plan accordingly.

Pets: Pets must be approved by property owners before reservation and owners reserve the right to charge a pet fee.
