We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We only stayed for the weekend but had everything we needed. We loved the fact that once we got there we were away from everyday life. Great view, comfy beds, and enjoyed wonderful dinners. We would definitely stay here again. Owners have GREAT communication. Big plus.

July 4 week

The house was great for our family. We had adults and our adult children. The host/owner communicated with us before and after. What a wonderful place. I highly recommend this place.

Guys trip

A little bit of heaven

We were doing a short get away with family. We fell in love with the place. Very comfy cozy, with space too! The view of lake from the front porch amazing. Place to spend with your family priceless.

Dale Hollow Golf and relaxation

Cozy spot. Saw a double rainbow over the bay in the valley. Dale Hollow Golf Course was very nice. Hot tub was great our round. Thank you to the Barrys.

The house provided a very comfortable stay. The ladies in the family did not like the drive into/out of the property, though I didn't mind and I did the driving. On the first evening our son's dog had an encounter with a skunk, that required a series of cleanings. Two evenings we were trapped in the house as two skunks spent considerable time checking everything out, though we did not eat any meals outside, nor cook outside, but what can you expect when you are staying in the woods. My wife and I spent considerable time sitting outside, and should have sprayed bug killer, as we are still recovering from many chigger bits. Overall, the property was comfortable for our extended family of 12.

We love Dale Hollow but you really need a 4-wheel drive to get down and up the gravel path to this property. I wouldn't even attempt it with that if it rains. It took my son five tries to get to the top where the house. We brought meat to grill but the grill was not usable. We ended up going to Dollar General for nonstick pans, paper towels and toilet paper which there was very little of at the house. There were several things that just didn't work for us. With all the great reviews I expected more attention to detail. I think all and all it could be a really nice place. It has a great view. It needs some reworking of the driveway and fixing up inside the house.
