Niagara Stay

The duplex was larger than expected and very clean. The walls are thin and we could hear a lot of noise from the guests on the other side. Neighborhood looks “iffy” but is quite quiet.

It's a duplex

The home was clean and about a mile walk to the falls. The only thing that was not clear and I didn't catch it in the other review but this is a duplex. And the neighbors have access to the attic which is directly above all the bedrooms. Our first night we were alone and it was nice and peaceful. The 2nd night another family (or families) showed up and they were walking directly above us all...night...long. It was rough trying to sleep through that. We did inform Niagara Hospitality of this and they told me they would give me a partial refund however I have not seen it yet after 10 days.Other than that it was great.

Niagra Falls Visit

This lil space was AMAZING! Gorgeous decoration! Very comfortable! VERY CLEAN! We were close to local attractions, however not a "walk" we chose to take. The neighborhood did make us nervous... however all amendities were perfect and we felt safe within the house.

The impression from the pictures is completely different than what you're walking into every single fixture was falling off the wall the couches were ripped and torn the floors were cracked. Every dish we pulled out of the cabinet and utensil was dirty. Only a bottle of dollar store mens bodywash was there. The flies. The flies were so bad they were landing on us. We could not figure out where they were coming from. The back area was littered with trash. There were no covers on the mattresses. No hooks to hang anything, no hair dryer. The water was dangerously hot and broekn windows. And the old contact lens stuck all over the wall this was just horrible.

Close to everything

Owner was very quick to answer any questions I had in a short period of time, which was excellent! Location is a short distance to the Falls, aquarium, shopping outlets, and lots of restaurants. The duplex was very clean. Owner kept in touch with me over my vacation to make sure we had everything we needed. Our only issue was that we had a neighbor tell us we had a parking spot in the backyard and proceeded to tell us that were taking up parking spots from the people that live in the neighborhood. Also, when there was someone staying on the other side of the duplex every noise they made was magnified, which I’m sure they might say the same goes for us. Even so, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks again!

Easy 20-Minute Walk to the Falls

Large three-story older duplex, with plenty of comfortable couches and chairs, easily sleeps six (sharing the one bathroom is doable, just takes some negotiating). No need to Uber to the Falls, the healthy walk there and to 3rd Street restaurants is flat, easy, and felt safe in a group. Good location for us. This property is half of the duplex, first & second floors; neighbors arrived next door on all three floors for the wknd., so it was noisy beside us and overhead - not call-the-cops loud, but loud conversation/arguing and their walking the creaking floors was late night wakening for all of us. But, hey, it's an old, thin-walled property, and we were exhausted from our touring the falls, so we slept through most of it. Light sleepers: bring earplugs just in case you get neighbors, too. Worked just fine for us. Thank you!

Excellent Experience

Although 75% of the area is vacant and boarded up, this street actually has neighbors. The neighborhood looks poor, however ever person we came in contact with were very nice. The house was clean and well kept. The front and back yards are fenced in and we felt safe. The only negative I would give, is the furniture (leather couches) are in need of replacing One couch, the left side is broken and you have to fight with it to recline the chair. The other side of the couch is coming unstitched and fraying at the seams. I did have to re-sweep the kitchen floor when we got there, due to it being dirty. The kitchen is very limited on pots and pans, so if you plan to cook for more than a few people, don't unless you bring your own skillets. If you are like me and sleep with two pillows, bring your own. And if you want a throw blanket, bring your own. They only provide the bare minimum. Overall I would recommend this place. The lighting was great and there was plenty of room for 4 people. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
