Renovated, modern Chatham beach house with lots of cozy charm

This charming beach house has just been gut renovated and decorated with a modern but cozy, beachy feel. The house is located a short .25 miles from Pleasant Beach. A short walk or bike ride away. Pleasant is one of the few free beaches in Chatham so no permit needed and no daily charge. The neighboring Forrest Beach is also a free beach. Also a short bike or car ride from Red River Beach, which is a large, beautiful beach with life guards, concessions and bathrooms. The house is also within walking distance to two restaurants. Pisces is one of the best restaurants in Chatham, as well as Drifters which is a great, casual family option. 10 minutes to Chatham village and 5 minutes to downtown Harwichport village. The house features four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite with their own bathrooms and the other guest bedroom and loft bedroom share the other large bathroom. The house features a very large living, bright living room, dining room and beautiful new kitchen with high end appliances. There is also a lovely screened in porch with a dining table and living furniture for relaxing, as well as outdoor patio area with a dining table & grill.

Perfect Vacation

Nice home in a great neighborhood. The house could have been stocked better with things like kitchen towels, baking sheets, kitchen utensils, etc. It was nice to have a few beach chairs and beach towels available. Thank you for a great stay!

We were 4 female college friends in our 70s. We found the house well-designed to suit our needs, which included sightseeing by day and playing cards at night. The kitchen was adequate for the little bit of cooking we did. The queen beds were very comfortable, but the twin and king were a bit soft. The bathrooms were great! We wanted to enjoy the sun porch more, but as the weather became cooler, the permanent screen panels made that difficult. The location of the house was perfect - pretty and quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach.

The house is clean and neat. The renovations show nicely. My young adult kids, 3, enjoyed their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and supplied cookery/utensils are good if you eat in a lot, which we did. Parking g for three vehicles works. We enjoyed a relaxing week with walks to the beach and shopping in Chatham. Very nice overall!

The charming home was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze! We didn't spend a lot of time there since we were out exploring. The house was good for 6 adults; if there were more of us it would have felt very cozy. While the aesthetic of the home was lovely, the couches weren't super comfy due to the low backs. That didn't stop us from watching amovie and football, though. We loved eating in the screened in porch for breakfast. Overall, nice stay!Tips for travelers: bring your shower toiletries.

My five star rating for this Vrbo is based on general use. The kitchen is well appointed (sharp knives!) and there is good room for a group to socialize. Although the property is advertised as wheelchair accessible, it is not 5 star for someone in a wheelchair. There is only one bedroom that can be reached by wheelchair and there are 2 thresholds that must be crossed, each about an inch high. The bedroom has a king size bed that does not leave room on either side for a 24" wide wheelchair. For someone who is capable of taking a few steps with assistance, this may not be an issue, but for someone with no function in the lower extremities, I would not rate the property as wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the house is at the top of a ramp for the wheelchair. When we were there, the mechanism for keeping the screen door open was not working and this made it difficult to enter with the wheelchair. This would be an easy fix.

Perfect Long Weekend

We were looking for a place to stay in Chatham for a family birthday celebration, and we found the perfect place! The house is comfortable, spacious and close to town. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom! We will definitely be booking this home again.

Family Fall Trip

The host Mark was amazing to communicate with. The house is very charming and decorated so nice. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and essentials for cooking. It was a perfect for our family if 6. We would Definitely stay here again in the future.
