Welcome to your home away from home. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath rustic cabin includes a unique updated kitchen, loft, game room & a spacious backyard, all within close proximity to all that Big Bear has to offer. We are within 1 mile to the lake, The Village, and Snow Summit. It has a master suite that incorporates a fully tiled stand up shower and jetted tub to wash away your days' stress. Cabin is also located on a cul-de-sac that includes an entrance to SB National Forest.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as good!! Everything was clean and cozy; the host even gave us an early check in and late check out due to the weather! Would recommend!

Great for Family with Kids

We spent Christmas week at Rustic Escape and had a great time. The cabin provided the ample space and amenities for our family of 7. We enjoyed the close distance to the Village and Big Bear Snow and Play. We intend to stay again.

Ski week

We stayed at this property during our kids’ ski week school break and had an awesome time!! The property had plenty of space inside and was clean. The kids had a blast playing in the snow! There was even a spare snow sled inside that we used when our own broke. Would stay here again!!

Awesome location

We absolutely loved our stay at Rustic Escape cabin!! Perfect Location!! Quite away from traffic. Loved how the trail was a couple cabins away & stores less than 5 minutes away. Fernando was always very quick to respond to all my messages & cabin was clean with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend &would love to stay here again! Thank you!

Great place to stay with the family.

Love the experience of the cabin everything was as expected. The only downfall was we were looking forward to enjoy the Fire pit but it was empty no gas.

Quiet Getaway

This place was wonderful! The location was ideal for hiking, easy walk to town, and so peaceful. Please note that there is very little height clearance in the doorways and the stairs.

Why they chose this property

This beautiful property sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, ideally and centrally located within close proximity to all that Big Bear has to offer. A quick 3 min. walk puts you at an entrance to the National Forest, with access to multiple hiking and biking trails and sledding runs scattered throughout the area. If you are looking for something more leisurely, The Village is an easy 15-20 min. stroll away. The home is within 2 miles to the lake, Snow Summit, grocery stores, and Big Bear Zoo. We hope you enjoy your stay!

What makes this property unique

This home is well stocked with games of all ages. Some games include: Pool, golf pool, foldable poker table (poker chips/ cards), bocce balls, horseshoes, 8 ft x 8ft chess board (16” pieces), puzzles, and toys for all ages. You will find it hard to leave this cabin so enjoy!
