The ideal starting point for alpine skiing and snowboarding is the Oberau ski slope, and the Olympic winter sports metropolis of Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the Zugspitze is approx. 8 km to the south.

Shopping:
The village centre is approx. 5 minutes' walk away, where local bakeries and butchers will spoil you with fresh products. The discounters Aldi, Rewe, Rossmann, Kik, Tedi can be found at the entrance to the village (open until 8.00 pm)
