The Accommodation

Ohlstadt, a legendary community between Murnau and
Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
After a year-long complete renovation, we are delighted to offer our 160-year-old farmhouse as a holiday home.

Our charming holiday home is located on one of the oldest streets in Ohlstadt—in a very quiet yet central location, surrounded by old farmhouses.
The approximately 80 square metres of living space are spread across the ground floor and the upper floor. The house will be furnished with brand-new furniture and a brand-new kitchen, in keeping with the motto “Authenticity meets a modern ambiance.”

On the ground floor, next to the entryway and coat closet, you’ll find the kitchen-diner with a small but fully equipped new modern kitchen (dishwasher, oven, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker provided) and a cosy corner bench. Adjacent to it is an open living room with a comfortable corner sofa. From the living room, you can easily step out onto our patio, which is furnished with a garden table and chairs.
The small but charming bathroom features a shower, a toilet, and, of course, a sink.

The staircase leading from the hallway to the ground floor is a little steeper than you might be used to. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, “Moritz” and “Josie.” From the Moritz bedroom, you can step out onto the cosy south-facing balcony. Here, just like on our patio, you can enjoy the mountain view.
Both bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (1.80 m), a TV, and a closet.

For small children, we offer a travel cot, bed rail, stroller, baby carrier, and high chair free of charge upon request.

The Moritz & Josie holiday home and its terrace are available for your exclusive use.

You can stay with us, have a good time, relax, enjoy good food and drinks right next door at the local restaurants, or cook for yourself in the small, fully equipped kitchen; hang out with friends, play sports, listen to music, lounge on the terrace, and gaze at the stars. Just be yourself—just take a holiday, whether it’s for three weeks or just three days.

Authenticity meets a modern atmosphere, and proximity to nature meets the colourful surroundings. A magnificent mountain view with excellent opportunities for day trips—relaxation and enjoyment; that’s exactly how we appreciate the region.
