The Space:
This House has 5 bedrooms and 3 Full Baths. The first floor has 2 bedrooms and one full bath and the second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole house except for two closets on the first floor and the garage that is used for storage.

The Neighborhood:
Gates NY is a quiet Suburb located Mins from downtown Rochester. The house is located on a residential street.

Getting Around:
Rochester is best enjoyed with a car. There is also Uber and Lyft in our area.

Family wedding

Our group of 9 were very comfortable and felt right at home! Host was excellent and very responsive! She checked In with us upon our arrival to be sure that we had everything we needed. House was very close to store and downtown.

Rochester home

Property was ok pictures are bit living room much smaller than it appeared in pics . Kitchen not well stocked 6 glasses isn't really enough. Host was responsive check in and out was good. Was a little disappointed we had to wash dishes in cupboard because they weren't clean. Not a big deal dishwasher works well.

Family Vacation

Overall the property was spacious and accessible with being in good location. We were centered around stores and eating establishments and 8 minutes away from the airport and my family that lives in Rochester.

Loved 5 beds, 3 baths, well stocked kitchen modern appliances fenced yard AC, ability to park up to 6 cars (if needed), close drive to necessities and expressway. Quiet street!

Bowling with Family and Friends

The property has lots of room. In a very nice neighborhood and convenient to stores and food places. The grill worked great and overall everyone enjoyed their stay 😀. The Host was available to answer all questions timely!

Cozy place

Me and 15 of my associates stayed here during a buisness trip and we all enjoyed ourselves. The 5 bedroom home has king and queen beds and there was available extra beds so we were all comfortable. The basement was a great spot for rehearsals for a show we was putting together. Theres a restaurant down the street that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner plus we wasnt far from the airport. The home was.super clean and the owner was responsive to all out needs

Simple and convenient

There was ample space and plenty of beds for our family of 12 that were gathering. Fans were found in the closets which was helpful to block out the noise from the rest of the house at night. Easy access to the highway and grocery stores. Nice to be at the end of a quiet street. Large backyard was good for the kids to play and run around. We were thankful to all be together and had everything we needed. Hosts were quick to reply if needed.

Good but could be Great

Booked this location for a weekend wedding in Webster. Check-in was delayed because they were still cleaning the home. Upon check-in we saw that while the pictures were accurate, the house was much smaller than the pictures made it seem. Neighborhood is a traditional Gates blue collar and was very quiet. The house is 2 away from interstate 490 and construction is happening in the lot (construction vehicles woke us all up at 6:30 on Monday morning). The house was clean. Kitchen had some basic supplies and Wegmans is only 2 miles from the house (very convenient). Fridge acted up during our stay and owners delivered a portable fridge for the remainder of our stay. Towels were VERY thin and small and many were bleached stained. 2 EXTREMELY full garbage cans were on the curb upon check in and we were unable to empty our inside cans upon check out. Owner is responsive. We had to adjust our check-out date and they quickly accommodated the change.

60th Birthday weekend

We didn’t stay in this home due to the fact that the re was no heat in the house. The owner was very diligent in finding a place for us to stay. We wound up having to stay in two separate houses which I was unhappy about, but was thankful that she had places for us and it worked out. The houses were clean and in a great and quiet location. There were a few things that I had to contact the owner about and there was nothing she could have done about it at that point anyway. I do feel that the homes weren’t ready to be rented out, but I do understand that she was trying to accommodate us. The things that I reported to her were minor. Some of the cots could use new mattresses, new furniture in both houses would be great. Overall it was a fabulous weekend and I would stay in another property of hers. I’m very appreciative that she did everything in her power to accommodate us.

Hot Water Issues - overpriced

We only had hot water about half the time we were there. Owner did not respond to any of the messages we sent. Just ignored us. We had to follow a difficult procedure and reset the hot water heater numerous times. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not. Many broken blinds. Poor couch. Clean inside but not out back where we spent most of our time. We paid much higher than normal rate due to the PGA Championship. Hot water and unresponsive owner were the biggest issues besides paying over triple the normal rate. Still no response from owner.

House family stayed in for our daughters Wedding

The location was good as it was 10 minutes from daughters house and downtown venue. The VRBO APP has issues as far as being able to communicate directly fortunately the owner was very nice and helpful throughout the process.

Perfect for family stay

We had a family of 18 (5 sub-family units) staying here. We came to see church history sites and this was 45 minutes from Palmyra. We had a great time! We were perfectly comfortable. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The temperatures were consistent. We LOVED walking in the woods along the Erie Canal trail, just 150 feet from the VRBO. There were a few cooking supplies the vrbo didn’t provide, but when we informed the host, those items were dropped at our doorstep within an hour. They are incredible caretakers of their guests. The two washers and two dryers were SO helpful. The only downside was the couch, and it’s such a little thing. It was comfortable, but the seat cushions slid onto the ground every time one of the children slid off a couch. I think I put the seat cushions back on like a dozen times in 2 days, and I wasn’t the only one reassembling the couch. Oh well. It was a great stay.

Wedding in Rochester visit

The house was really clean and stock with paper towels, tissue, blankets and towels and wash cloths.

The Street is quite on a dead end Street. The host was very nice and made her self available to me. The house was really clean. The bedrooms are very big. It’s really nice to relax and gather with family. The only Recommendation I would have is to add TV’s in all the bedrooms. The master has a TV and there’s another one in the living room and basement but not in all the bedrooms. Other than that, the house is beautiful!
