5 Bedroom Town home, 4 Baths, Fantastic Location Mountain/Town Luxury Home.

This is a great 5 Bedroom, 4 bath, family unit, accommodating up to 12 people. (14 by special arrangement). It is ideally located within easy walking distance of the Snowflake lift, the mountain and the town. For those that do not wish to walk, there is a free town bus service less than one minute from the house. In addition to the private Hot Tub at the house, as a guest of Elk Ridge 426 you also have free and unlimited access to the exclusive Swimming Pool complex located just a short stroll away at the Upper Village, winter and summer. We take tremendous pride in our house as well as our dedicated housekeepers and we will do everything possible to make sure you have a comfortable and memorable stay in the house.

The house is a 2,500 sq ft town home spread over 4 floors. This provides plenty of space and privacy for both familes and groups as required. It includes a Private Hot Tub, Fully equipped Modern Kitchen, Outside Grill, Multiple decks and outstanding views. Surround sound HIFI , Blue Ray player, High speed internet available free (wifi) as well as full HD Cable TV. Outdoor/indoor swimming pool available to guests.

This is a very popular vacation home for many reasons and gets fully booked every season. Please see our excellent online reviews over several years of consistently accomodating happy guests. House Layout:

Living Room:- Open plan living area with large comfortable sofas, cozy gas fireplace, LCD TV, surround sound system, dvd, HD cable TV, iPod dock. All suited to those relaxing nights after a hard day in the mountains. Door opening out to the deck with grill, some seating and great views.

Kitchen:- Fully equipped, new granite work surfaces, new appliances, French Fridge/Freezer which includes chilled water and ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, oven, cooker, coffee maker.

Dining:- Dining table seats 8 comfortably (possible to seat more) with 4 extras seats at the kitchen/breakfast bar.

Lobby/entrance hall, bathroom with shower.

Bedroom 1 (Top Floor) Sleeps 4 - x1 queen bed and x1 queen sleeper, this room is a great to be used as a possible playroom for kids it has a TV/DVD player and table with four chairs for board games.

Bedroom 2 (The Den) Sleeps 2 (twin beds (can sleep 3 has additional pull out bed) , LCD TV, en suite bathroom with new granite tops, tiled bathroom and fitted wardrobes.

Master Bedroom Sleeps 2 King Bed (can sleep 4 has queen sleeper), LCD TV, door leading out to balcony, great views. Luxurious en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, double sink. Spacious bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and seating area.

There are beds for 11 and with the use and flexibility of the 2 sofa beds we can accommodate up to 14 guests by prior arrangement. This is a deliberate decision for your own comfort.

Car parking for two cars. One in the garage and one on the drive. (Additional parking can be arranged.)

We have totally remodelled this house to a very high standard and take great pleasure in providing our guests with a house to relax and enjoy their winter and summer vacations.

This Luxury home is ideally located for skiing, the town and the resort as a whole. Easy walking distance to the whole of Breckenridge. No need to drive to the ever busy parking lots. The house is extremly comfortable and offers families and guests the perfect mountain home experience. 426 Elk Ridge offers a great vacation alternative to a hotel, with all the benefits and luxury but at a very affordable year round price.

Elk Ridge is located 2/3 minutes from the snowflake lift which takes you to peak 6,7,8,9&10. It is the perfect location for both skiing and the town. There is also a free town shuttle bus on Kings Crown Road that will take you to the slopes and town.

Fantastic Experience in a Fantastic House

Our stay at our Elk Ridge house was top-notch. Breckenridge is a massive resort but Elk Ridge is cleverly placed to allow both easy access to the slopes as well as the main town. Our property was very well appointed with modern furnishings in the kitchen / bathrooms and a very nice living room. The one feedback was that the mattresses on the pull out sofas were quite old and some of the pull outs were downright dangerous.

Overall we were very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend the property to future travelers!

Great Location!

We had a party of 10 adults. There was plenty of space and the location was perfect. A very short walk (400 yards) to the ticket office, ski rentals and lift. Walk to down town was only a half mile back. The only complaint from the group was that the bed in the top floor room was too hard.

Great Family Holiday

We had a fantastic time in Breckenridge and loved staying at Elk Ridge . We are a family of 5, including 3 teenage boys, who stayed here in Summer looking for an active outdoors holiday. The location was great, just a 10 minute walk to Main Street where there are numerous great restaurants and shops. We found that the house was very clean and well equipped with ample space to accomodate us. We had fun in the pool most days (5 minute walk away) but particularly loved chilling out in the hot tub at the end of the day. The owners, Mark and Emma, were really helpful with our enquiries about local activites too. We can't recommend the house highly enough and we would defintely stay here again. Thanks for helping us have such a great holiday. Go Breck!

Great for a group of 11!

Overall, this property was perfect for our group of 11. There was plenty of space to spread out and in a great location close to Snowflake lift. Our only issues were how thin some of the mattresses were, specifically on the pull-out couches. We made it work, but might would recommend replacing them. Other than that, we were pleased and would easily rent again!

Our stay was over the Thanksgiving week with 8 adults and 6 children under the age of 7. The pictures on the HomeAway/VRBO site must have been taken with a wide angled lense making the area appear spacious, which it was not. We had invited more family and friends to share our Thanksgiving dinner and had to cancelled our invite because of the crowded conditions.

Yes, there is a hot tub but ONLY accessible from the bedrooms! I refused to allow an unannounced hot tub maintenance person access because we had sleeping children and that is the only way he could get to the tub (which we did not use). We also had a fire alarm test conducted by maintenance workers throughout each level of the unit with sleeping children!!! The master bedroom on the second level down stairs is spacious BUT you have nearly back in to the toilet closet to use it! WHO DESIGNED THIS

PLACE!!!! ???? The upstairs bedroom, billed as a play room too, does not have a bathroom. Family using that bedroom had to use the bathroom off of the kitchen. There is room for two cars only and extras had to pay to park downtown overnight.

If you're in Breckenridge to ski and are out of the unit a lot and don't have as many people staying there you'll probably be ok. Don't expect the place to be upscale or a LUXERY unit. Furniture is dinged and needs a good cleaning, everywhere. Kitchen is too small. Dishwasher did not clean dishes. Leak under the sink. Don't get me started on the community pool which was the reason why the place appealed to us because of grandchildren.

This is the second time we have felt misled by VRBO rentals in the Breckenridge Area. We won't be back.

Owner's Response: We are very dissapointed that you did not enjoy your stay in our house but we have to totally disagree with you that our listing details are misleading. It is strange that 23 other reviews all rated us 4/5 stars and had very enjoyable experiences. We provide comprehensive and accurate information on our listing detailing size and layout. Nothing is exaggerated or misleading. May we respectfully suggest that you did not read the listing details or at least not enough to get a full understanding of the house. The photos were taken in Feb 2016 so accurately reflect the layout and condition. We have no control over when the fire alarm is tested and when the hot tub is maintained but would have thought both would be a benefit and reassuring to you rather than a negative. Parking in Breckenridge is a premium these days and very few units provide more than 2 spaces and again is clearly stated on the listing details. Given your comments it very clear that you should have rented a single family home or stayed in a hotel rather than a town home which given our excellent value for money would have been significantly more expensive for you given the number of people. This is the only 1 star rating we have ever received and feel it is totally unfair and does is no way reflect the excellent value for money and standard of accomodation. Once again we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
