Guestbook comments from the owner

Paul Ranch was a great place to stay. It became our home for 3 days while experiencing Glacier National Park and Waterton National Park. We had 2 bedrooms and a nice size living room, large bathroom. There was a washer and dryer which came in handy. There was even detergent for you to use, which was a nice surprise. A well stocked kitchen. They even had spices, herbs and coffee for you. We made our breakfast and dinners here, since the rest of our trip was going to be in hotels. I would definitely recommend a stay at Paul Ranch. i recommend staying in the first bedroom instead of the master because this room has the better view. Its on a ranch and the view is wonderful. The stars at night were amazing. We also got daily visits from a bunny and chipmunk. Truly a great place for a home base to explore this amazing part of Montana.

Awesome location for exploring region

  • 4 of 5

House was comfortable, as others have said not the Ritz but ok. Definitely could use some a little bit of care, not all the windows had screens and bathroom could use hooks for hanging towels but otherwise the house was comfortable. Gene and Teri were very nice, unfortunately we did not get to see the alpacas much. Location is ideal for exploring GNP and Waterton. Would stay again.

Awesome view, stocked house, friendly owners, and adorable alpacas.

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome time at Paul's Ranch in East Glacier. It is located close to Glacier National Park and sits in a beautiful setting itself. You don't even need to go to the park to enjoy the area! The owners are incredibly friendly and the house has everything you need including a washer and dryer, as well as a stocked kitchen. My four kids especially enjoyed the alpacas and talking to the owners. My husband had a low tire and the owner filled it so we could get to town to have it plugged. We will be back!

Great setting and close to all the East Glacier entrances.

  • 5 of 5

Clean, spacious home. It was nice to relax and make home cooked meals after spending part of our trip on the go from place to place. My kids loved the alpacas! Everything was straightened up daily. Having wi-fi available was nice, considering no service in that region.

Good Choice for East Side of Glacier

  • 4 of 5

This VRBO rental worked well for my family of 6. The caretakers were super nice and made us cookies (a big hit!). They were also available to answer any questions and made us feel right at home. The location was convenient: very near the Many Glaciers entrance to the park but also not too far from the Going to the Sun Highway (main highway through Glacier). We also took advantage of the close proximity to Canada to visit Waterton Park (it was great and free in 2017 because they are celebrating Canada 150--a nice surprise). We all loved the alpacas. Not much in the way staples (spices, even forks were were a little sparse) but we would stay here again and would recommend this rental to others without hesitation.
