Cozy, long term welcome, pet & family friendly, fenced yard, fire pit, deck.

Our peaceful dog friendly two bedroom bungalow has an open floorplan, modern kitchen and charming original hardwood floors. Newly painted and decorated with your comfort in mind.
Both bedrooms boast brand new queen size beds, plenty of pillows, and room darkening shades to ensure a good nights sleep.
The bathroom is stocked with plush towels and locally made soap. For guests that enjoy cooking, you’ll find our kitchen fully stocked with everything you may need to prepare meals, including basic pantry items. Enjoy relaxing on the back deck, and a fully fenced in yard provides space for kids and pets to play.
For our guests traveling with children, our home is equipped with a pack and play, high chair, and booster seat to make life a little bit easier. If there is anything else you may need, please inquire.
For our guests traveling with a dog, please click pet when booking to ensure your dog is added to the reservation. We do have a pet fee. Dogs not disclosed during booking will pay double the fee upon check in. We provide food and water bowls, poop bags, and muddy paw towels. If you are traveling with more than 1 dog please inquire prior to booking. Only well behaved house trained dogs are welcome and they must remain off of furniture.

To get your trip off to a relaxing start, coffee and tea is provided, settle in and enjoy your home away from home.

Monthly rentals welcome, please inquire for discounted rate.

My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this sweet little cottage. It was immaculately clean, thoroughly stocked with anything needed, and the yard is fenced around the entire property, so there's plenty of room for your pets to run and play. The host was very communicative and the home was lovely and comfortable. We willl definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, we enjoyed our stay immensely! Pleasantly surprised to find dog dishes and towels for the dog when we walked in. The gated property was great to not have to worry about putting our dogs out. Enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch in the back. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay. It had everything we needed. We loved the backyard for our dog. The only problem at the beginning was getting out of the driveway. It was a little scary at first, but we got the hang of it! Would definitely return.

The home was VERY comfortable and clean. Cutely decorated. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, and everything was easy to find.

We enjoyed our stay but the house seemed to stay cold. Thankfully I brought an electric blanket which I snuggled up in. If you stay here, there is alot of traffic on the road out front and my pup was terrified of the load noise the cars made coming by. I loved the decor and the bed was so comfortable I slept wonderful. I did like how close to town it was making everything convenient.

Thank you for staying with us! We’re so happy to hear you slept soundly and found the location to be perfect for your NYE visit. Our home has a brand new heating system as well as an electric fireplace in the living room for those who like it extra toasty. Perhaps the more secluded back yard would have suited your nervous little pup a bit better.

Great place to stay!

We brought our dog for a relaxing weekend getaway and it was perfect! The fenced in yard was great to have and the neighborhood was quiet but a quick drive to downtown Asheville. Would highly recommend for a small family traveling with pets!

Wonderful bungalow for a stay. Very cozy, and well thought out. Had everything we needed and more. Because it is a bungalow, some spaces are tight. Wasn't an issue for us. Kristen is a great host was highly responsive. Loved the little deck space out back. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

Kristin’s house was a great location for our visit to Asheville. The yard was perfect for our dog and the house was just a short drive to most of the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Her home was extremely clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful cozy home for weekend getaway

Great cottage and location

Family came to town for the weekend and the house was perfect. Easy, convenient, and fully stocked. Very comfortable for our family of 4. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Retreat

Fantastic property with everything we needed. Great fenced yard for our pup to romp around. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was extremely well equipped. 5+ rating!

Asheville Retreat

Great place to stay. The covered side porch was wonderful. People mentioned traffice was not even an issue and we were outside a lot. Dog was safe.

We also adore the side porch! Recently updated outdoor furniture and a wall mounted TV makes it the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with comforts of indoors. Glad you loved it too!

My husband and I have been visiting Asheville for several years to spend time with family and we fell in love with everything about the mountains, the food scene, hiking and the wonderful people we have met.. We aren't able to be here full time just yet which allows us to share our home with you.

We looked for the perfect place and we finally found this lovely post war bungalow with a nice fenced in yard, perfect for children and pets. It's peaceful, comfortable and welcoming. We enjoy being here with our family and we hope you like it too.
