Fenced in backyard adjacent to a natural forest, is a haven of tranquility, with sunset seeping through the lush canopy and painting a mesmerizing mosaic on the forest floor. Expandable dining table to seat 12 people, new appliances. Pool table in the family room. Room to park boats & ample parking on half circle driveway. Charcoal barbecue. Public water. 1 mile from Golf Course.

Large, beautiful house in a very quiet area. My family had a very pleasant time. We especially enjoyed the pool table during rainy days.

Perfect for our short stay

Overall the place was perfect for our needs. We had a large group for a couple of days. House is very spacious and location was perfect for taking the boats out at Lanark. The only complaint was it was literally the hottest day of the summer and upon arrival the air conditioning was off and set to 90. It took until the day we left to get the house at a comfortable temp. I would suggest having the house cool for incoming guests.

Owner was very responsive. Property was fantastic! We had a large family get together for Thanksgiving here and everyone loved the place! Back yard was great for kids to play in, beach is right across the street, pool table, tons of room and ample beds and futons for sleeping. The front door sticks, so make sure to pool out then push down and in to open. Lots of clean towels, beds were all clean, pretty much a full kitchen with pots and pans and tons of kitchenware that we all were impressed by and had not seen in any other place we have rented. Oh, and firepit in front was a nice surpise that we enjoyed through the weekend. Very grateful that we chose to stay here!

When we arrived the front door was very hard to open. The floor had had a lot of sand on it. The floors are laminated and my wife slipped on them and almost fell. If the house was cleaned they did a terrible job. My wife was going to vacuum the floor but the vacuum was dirty and stuck. The water in the toilets was all rusty. The water in the sinks and shower had a terrible matalic smell and taste. Washing machine was rusted out and rusty in side the dishwasher was also rusty. Stove was dirty as well as the kitchen refrigerator. The kitchen sink looked like there was a leak in the cabinet. So many small problems I can name them all. This house was not ready to be rented. I believe there is a serious problem with the well.

Nice house, terrible amminities

The owner gave good directions for getting into house. I got there at 3:30 pm. House was 86 degrees because air was cut off. Kitchen amenities such as large bowls, skillets, large knives, dish rags, drying towels, etc were totally missing. Because i live nearby. I was able to bring these things. But for out of town travelers, they are SOL. We had to wash towels every morning as there were no extra towels available. There was no laundry detergent, not even for first day. The only seating in the living room were futons. VERY LOW and uncomfortable seating. They need to at least put risers under legs so you are not sitting with your knees above your butt. Toilets are extremely low and hard to get on and off. No place to put clothes in the bedrooms. Had to leave suitcases open on floor to get to clothing. No bedside lamps. As i said, large house but very inconvenient. Would not rent again. House was very clean, but for what was missing and very uncomfortable seating, the price was very high.

Come over and enjoy your vacation at the most secluded area on the beach.
The house is very spacious; we can accommodate 2-3 families in the house.
It is a ranch style house with no steps.
