We had a wonderful family get away here. Especially loved the screened in porch having morning coffee. Beautiful location and the cabin was spacious, with a large kitchen, and plenty of space for our large family to hang out. I would highly recommend this property!

This is a wonderful lodge tucked away in the woods. Perfect for different types of groups. A lot of room to spread out and very quiet and peaceful.

This was our 4th stay. Was just as wonderful and relaxing as everytime before. We appreciate the quiet and the beauty this place offers. It's a wonderful time to reconnect with family in a beautiful setting. The kitchen makes cooking family meals a breeze. While I bring some of my own cookware/utensils, it's just because I'm finicky, they have everything you need for family meals. We got the pleasure of being there during a blizzard. Was beautiful to see.

Great Family Week!

Beautiful property! We had an awesome stay here with family and there was something for everyone to enjoy from age 3-68. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty for nature.

This beautiful home was large enough for our family and the kids really enjoyed the swing set and card games!!! Within 25 minutes of Living History Farm which was a hit for our family! A nice quiet location and wonderful, large screened porch for the whole family. Since the mosquitos were way too friendly. We enjoyed it!!!

Beautiful location

This home is a wonderful and relaxing place to retreat from the busyness of life without having to travel so far from the Des Moines area. The house had everything we needed and the yard was peaceful and full of woodland creatures. We enjoyed bird watching and being close to nature.

Marvelous Lodge & Setting

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this incredible property. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean and wonderfully furnished. Communications with the host were superb, and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Terrific grounds, amazing outdoor spaces, close to several bike paths and an easy trip to Des Moines if that’s of interest. We loved it!

Family Gathering

Timberline Lodge was the perfect place for our extended family of 9 to stay. There was a high chair and pack and play for our grand baby and bunk beds for our other grand children. The adults loved the hot tub and appreciated our nightly relaxing soaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was a beautiful place to stay.

Bachelor / Golf Weekend

Had an awesome weekend with the guys. This place was truly the cherry on top! Amazing stay and the perfect place to unwind with all the space one could ever need! The hot tub and screened in porch was a big hit for the group! Very kinda and friendly hosts! Will 100% be staying again if in the area with a large group!

Family girls trip

By far the best place I've stayed. Incredibly clean, very easy and friendly owners, the lodge is beautiful. Sooo many beautiful birds and critters to watch. It was a perfect getaway weekend with the aunts and female cousins from my family. I did not want to leave

The home was beautiful and was perfect for our needs. Loved the fire pit and the hot tub! We had a girls/mom‘s weekend. Enjoyed cooking in a dream kitchen. House was secluded and yet very close to town. The owner is right next door if you need something so you are not totally secluded, but only saw them when we first checked in. Lots of living spaces. The large dining table was great as we worked on some crafts so enjoyed eating out on the screened in porch. No full bathroom on the main floor so had to go up or downstairs to use a shower. Not a big deal for any of the younger people in our group but this old mom doesn’t have a great knees. So only really affected me. The fire pit was so enjoyable and not super far away from the house so really enjoyed using it and not having to carry s’mores ingredients, drinks, or hotdogs to roast very far! A terrific house that was close for everyone to get to. Would definitely recommend!!

Family Wedding Weekend

I and my family were quite impressed with the property. We have stayed at several short term rentals in the past and this one has been our favorite. From the very nice and spacious house that allowed adults and kids to sleep comfortably to the spacious outside space that gave us room to play and enjoy the nice spring weather it was all fabulous. If we have the need to stay in the area again I absolutely would use Timberpine Lodge again.

Blissful Relaxation

Timberpine Lodge was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. There were plenty of dishes and cookware for all our needs. It was a quiet and serene location, very beautiful with all the trees on the property. We had an enjoyable time just sitting in the screened in porch and watching all the birds at the bird feeder. Would love to visit again.

Amazing Getaway & Wonderful Stay at Timberpine Lodge

Greg & Cheryl are the perfect hosts. Our family gathered for a long holiday weekend at the lodge and it was a joy to visit. The lodge is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet rural area outside of city limits. The amenities were plentiful, cleanliness was outstanding, check in process was seamless, indoor space is voluminous, and is truly a hidden gem in Dallas County. We look forward to returning again in the very near future.

Beautiful Home!

This home is absolutely beautiful! We stayed with 2 other families, all with kids 12 and under. The yard was a perfect spot for the kiddos to play! The house is set up well for multiple families! They had everything we needed at the house for a fantastic weekend!

Friends Forever

I grew up in a small town not far from this beautiful rental in Adel. Right off of a main highway but secluded by country surroundings. Super clean and great furnishings. My Iowa classmates meet each year and this is our favorite place to stay. You can’t ask for nicer owners or better facilities. A 10+ all the way. We will be back next year!
