Nestled in the heart of a 2-hectare chestnut grove, the house boasts a large (sloping) garden planted with a wide variety of trees. A stream flows through the property. Several hiking trails are accessible from the house (maps and guides are available). The secluded swimming pool, perched on the mountainside, offers a panoramic view of the forest, the volcano, and the Besorgues Valley. Carved into the rock, it is unique due to its privileged location (NB: 1.60m deep, adult supervision is required when young children are swimming). A large courtyard, adjoining the house, with a fountain and a century-old linden tree, can be used as a dining area, pétanque court, or for other outdoor games (a ping-pong table, pétanque set, and touring bicycles are available). Several sun loungers and a barbecue are available (NB: due to the summer drought, fire safety regulations are becoming increasingly strict regarding barbecues). On the other side of the house, a small terrace accessible from the bedroom overlooks the Besorgues valley and the orchard. The house has all modern comforts (washing machine, freezer, oven, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, television with Molotov and Prime Video, DVD player, etc.). Several games and equipment are available (table football, small telescope, etc.). ADSL connection via a Wi-Fi hotspot. No overlooking properties, absolute peace and quiet. Note: we provide bedding, all utilities are included in the price (water, electricity, etc.) except for the tourist tax supplement, which is paid in full to the local council. Cleaning is the sole responsibility of the occupants. For more than 4 people, there is a supplement of €30 per week per additional resident.
