Comfy, cozy cabin nestled in the woods right by Lake Whitney.
This is our family cabin. It was built in the 50's and has been remodeled inside an out, including tile shower, new floors, walls, ceilings, mounted HD TV, and wood burning stove.
New pull out couch in the living room area has gel foam mattress. The bedroom area has a queen size bed.
Perfect for weekend getaways, holiday retreats, or just to decompress.
The Lake Whitney area is known for its great hunting and fishing.
Local dock is three blocks away and the state park is less than 5 minutes away.
Great and super quiet lakeside neighborhood that offers incredible star gazing at night.
Private driveway can accommodate up to 3 vehicles.
Outdoor grill.
The kitchenette area comes furnished with a full size fridge, a two burner cooktop, basic set of dishes, utensils, coffee maker, blender, etc.
A custom design breakfast table compliments the common area and it is perfect for morning coffee.
High speed wireless internet is available.
HD TV - This is an app tv, just connect through your phone to watch your favorite channels.

This serene spot is an ideal weekend/weekday getaway for small families, small groups, or couples. It is walking distance away from the lake for convenient fishing or to take in the spectacular Lake Whitney sunrises and sunsets.

The home was very clean and comfortable. We liked the peacefulness of the location and the close proximity to the lake. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone and will stay there again when we get back down to Lake Whitney. The host was great, check in a breeze!

Safety was our first concern. The bottom step was not even attached to the deck, and I twisted my knee. A pile of trash that was about 5 feet high and 20 feet long piled up against the fence The freezer in the refrigerator was frozen. You couldn’t have put anything in it. We didn’t even stay we left. We were there from 1:30 PM till seven and And left and feel we need a refund could not find a two minute path to the water. The property is misrepresented and it’s unsafe.

These renters tried to check in early without letting us know. The trash they refer to in their review is actually a wood pile so renters can enjoy campfires during their stay. They were right about one thing though. The lake is not a 2 minute walk… it’s 5! These folks were looking for a refund and misrepresentated our property in an attempt to get that refund. Cabin is safe and is a short walk to lake.

Our stay provided a quiet getaway after a long day on the lake. The cabin was perfectly suited for myself, husband and one small pet. The cabin was clean, well equipped and the hosts were great throughout. Enjoyed the stay and the visit with the neighborhood dog!

Great Small Getaway

The property was perfect for a couple or a very small family! The only downside was no oven but the electric burners worked perfect and we made it work for the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. It was a great place for a small weekend away!
