This large house worked well for a family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and having the large dining table and space worked well. Loved the view from the huge windows. All the games were a hit with my grandson - especially the shuffleboard. The communication from the hosts was very helpful and clear. Made for a very smooth and fun vacation!

We loved this lake house! We had 8 adults and our dogs and it was perfect. The hill to the water is pretty steep but doable. We brought a big foldable wagon, that helped. The owners were very responsive and the lake was beautiful!! We rented a boat from wax marina and that worked out well for us too. We loved the screened-in porch for morning coffee and evening chill time. Would definitely recommend!

What an excellent property! Plenty of room for a family of ten to spread out and enjoy quality time together in the woods. The screened in porch was a big hit, and easy access to the lake had the kids busy swimming and fishing while I FINALLY beat “Ghosts ‘n Goblins” on the arcade machine in the game room (thank you Rewind button).. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, Well stocked house, accessible to the lake cove. Very steep hill down to the lake. Quiet cove. Lots of games inside & out. Fire pit with firewood & roasting sticks supplied. Must be careful with guest dock use during day keeping brief stops for supplies. Easy contact with hosts if questions. Remote, bring plenty of groceries! Loved our stay!

We had a great time with our family and friends over the 4th of July weekend. We even saw fireworks right from the deck! The host was very responsive and had the house stocked with all the basic necessities. The kids had an entire floor to themselves and lots of games to keep them busy. Just to clarify, the house is a few minutes walk down a hill to the lake, so it is not exactly on the lake. But a great location for Mammoth Caves and Bourbon Trail visitors.

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Cub Run! We spent our days exploring Mammoth Cave, renting kayaks at Wax Marina, and swimming at the Iberia Recreation Area. There is also a great playground available at Dog Creek. There was plenty to do for everyone.The home was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults and 3 kids. Since we prefer cooking our meals on vacation, the kitchen got a lot of use, and we definitely put the dishwasher to work! There were so many comfortable places for everyone to gather, relax, and enjoy each other's company.Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family. We made great memories and would happily stay here again!

Great place to stay.

My family came down with two other families and had a great time. The house was really nice and well-kept. The access to the lake was great and the kids loved playing on the floating raft. We would definitely stay there again.
