Marcy has everything you want for a large group or family trip to Lake Placid: 4-bed, 3.5- bath and 3000sqf, only a few min. walk to downtown, short drives to skiing Whiteface or hiking the High Peaks, and a beautiful interior. Consisting of two floors of living with a fully equipped kitchen with walk in pantry, there is everything you need at this property and more! Additionally, a private outdoor patio lets you enjoy a fire with family and friends while cooking out on your private grill. Whether you are a large family, corporate group or wedding party, this is your perfect escape to Lake Placid!

Great Location

Could easily walk to town from house. Kitchen was very nice to cook in and spend time with family. Outdoor space was great! Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay

The lodge is great. Super convenient to going into town. A 5 minute walk to the center. Large enough for 10+ people and very accurate with the posting.

perfect location to walk to town, lots of space and bedding. outside patio is really nice to have with the fire pit and grill. We had a great time!

Winter get away

Great place, plenty of room for everyone. They had kids plates, and dining wear, also a high chair for those with little ones. We plan to come back in the summer.

Annual Lake Placid Winter Vaca

This is the second time staying at Marcy and just like the first time, the whole family loved it! Plenty of space, parking and is within walking distance to downtown. Mike (owner) is very responsive and makes sure we have everything we needed. Highly recommend!

ADK Getaway

Such a beautiful property in the perfect location. It is within walking distance from the heart of Lake Placid. Has all the cooking and bake ware that you'll ever need. The outside fire pit was a plus along with the pool table. Would definitely stay here again with a large group of friends!!

Long weekend in December

This is our second year staying at the Marcy with three families. The property manager and caretaker are extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. The property is spotless and has all the amenities needed for a stay away from home. The property location couldn't be better!

Retirement Celebration

We chose Lake Placid to celebrate my husband's retirement with friends! This house was amazing! Plenty of room for us all! The weather was unseasonably warm and we enjoyed the deck and fire pit. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to town. We recommend The Black Bear Restaurant and the mountain coaster.

Beautiful, huge and modern house just minutes from town

We just returned home after a wonderful weekend in Lake Placid. A group of 13 of us stayed at the mercy property for the weekend and had the most magnificent time. The house was incredible from top to bottom. Some of the highlights were the large, open space around the fire pit, a huge table that seated us all for dinner, the well stocked and supplied kitchen, the many bedrooms and sleeping options, the pool table and mini kitchen on the second floor, etc. The property manager was gracious enough to allow a later check out to accommodate our weekend plans. We can’t wait to return!

A Triathlete’s gem!

I have been doing triathlon for 20 years and have never stayed at a place so lovely and so close to the race venue! We stayed for Ironman Lake Placid 70.3 and were able to stay warm and comfy in this beautiful house and had just a 5 minute walk to transition. Aside from the awesome proximity to the race, it was also ideal for our family of 5 and 3 grandparents. There are several beds we didn’t even use! We love to cook and the kitchen was super well-equipped. Really comfy couches for relaxing and watching Netflix. Easy walk to great restaurants and the charming downtown. Overall a super rental. Highly recommend!!

Marcy-Lake Placid

A spectacular residence and location in downtown Lake Placid. A short walk to town. The Unit/House had everything we needed. All the comforts of home and more. Clean and Spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and their private space. We will certainly rent again. Mike, your awesome. Can’t thank you enough for the communication and ease of check in. Shared housing, many amenities

Great place to stay near Lake mirror but it's not as easy or short to walk thru construction to get to main street. Some expected toiletries missing from bathrooms but everything clean and kitchen/pantry was well stocked. The pergola was nice but not as well maintained, wood was damp and lights did not work. Property manager was not available within couple hours, but we used alternative lighting to enjoy our grilled dinner! Overall kids friendly with some adjustments. They have two very useful pack and play bassinets FYI.

Marcy is a great place. I will let the cleaners know that we need to make sure the toiletries are out and available. Since we are not a hotel, we only supply the basics, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, linens, and towels, but not shampoo & conditioner. It is hard to keep the wood dry, but there should have been plenty of dry wood since it is delivered regularly, but certainly, I will check the wood. Sorry, I did not respond within a couple of hours; maybe I was at dinner? It is hard to be available 24/7, but I typically get back to guests within a short time. The lights were not working, not sure what that issue was, but unfortunately, I could not get a hold of anyone that late at night except for emergencies. However, the caretaker did take care of that issue. Bonnie

Perfect place for hockey families

My son's hockey team participated in the empire state games this past weekend, and this was the perfect house. You can walk right to the rink and even the village, we never had to use our car. The house works perfect for four families. I do wish all the bedrooms had TV's in, and the coffee maker was very slow but those two small things wouldn't stop us from renting again. LOVED IT. It is better if you can get others you know in the other units cause you can hear downstairs very easily and downstairs can hear you, luckily, it was other teammates below us. Also the house manager was great, and very helpful!

Wonderful

This property is gorgeous!! Very well kept and in a spectacular location. My family loved it and hopes to return again in the future. We checked in with ease and had zero problems with our host. The house contains all kitchen items you will need! Plus, it was fun to cook in :) That said ... a caution to those of you visiting with small and energetic children ... the walls/floors are THIN. Every door shut, every chair pulled out from the table, every trip down the steps warranted a bang on the floor from the people staying downstairs (our floor, their ceiling). And this wasn't during 'quiet time'. Maybe my kids have heavy feet, I dunno - but the sound really carried I guess!
