My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Shotgun Rye. The host made everything very easy from the time of booking to checking out. The home was very comfortable, clean and in a great location. The host even went above and beyond when we left one of our bags at the property by delivering it to a family member who lives in the area. This is a property and host that we definitely recommend!

This was a great location. Quiet neighborhood. Nice having off street parking. This house is well designed and stocked. Well maintained. Would recommend.
Our family of four had a fantastic three nights in Louisville. The location was perfect and the place was very clean and cozy. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful little home in a perfect location!! We absolutely loved this stay. Perfect with plenty of room for myself and 2 adult daughters. Back porch was a cute spot to watch the rain come in. Great location!! We will rent this house again!!!

What a great find this house was! Walkable to so many restaurants and shops but still a quiet peaceful home. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens and bedding were a great quality. The host communicated everything we needed to know and made all the arrangements feel seamless. Definitely highly recommend!
From the perfect location with walking distance to everything, down to the comfortable bed, 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen and great living area to kick back and relax - we love this place and would stay here again!
We were in Louisville for a weekend getaway. This house was perfect for us. It was adorable and exacly as pictured. We loved the location and that there were some great walkable spots close by. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband Ken and I have lived in the Highlands/Germantown area since 1997. I am a nurse and real estate agent and he runs our real estate investment company. I am originally from Louisville and met Ken while studying at the University of Kentucky. But, we both graduated from the University of Louisville. So since we went to both schools we get to cheer for both! We love Louisville, know the history and all the cool things to see and do. We love being centrally located and close to everything. Feels like home! Clean and comfortable which is just what you want whether you are working remotely or just want to relax! Great central location close to downtown, the Highlands, NULU, and in the heart of Germantown makes it easy to get around anywhere with a short walk, scooter ride or ride share! Great for active seniors looking for single level accommodations. If you have a larger group, we also own the houses next door as well and they also operate as short term rentals- A duplex that sleeps 8 and another shotgun home that sleeps 4.
