Great Visit

This was a great rental unit. There was plenty of room to spread out, with 2 separate kitchens and 2 separate family rooms. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone enjoyed the place. We will definitely rent this again the next time we're looking for a place near Milwaukee.

Milwaukee/Bayview

Great place for the entire crew. Beautiful spot across from park, great access to our son’s wedding in Bayview and a great house. Owner Kyle was amazing and very accomodating.

Excellent Spot for Families

We had such a nice stay at Schlitz Castle during our time in Milwaukee for the USA Nationals Triathlon! The house was stocked with everything we needed, including a high chair and pack n play for our 1 year old. Kyle was a pleasure to communicate with and I appreciated his quick responses. Would definitely recommend this spot!

WOW! Such a great stay!

We had an amazing time during our stay. The house was very homey and we loved piling everyone on comfy couches, floor cushions, chairs and snuggled into blankets to play charades or just talk! Even the teenagers loved it! Kyle has got an incredible touch with details that made everything just wonderful! You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Kyle did an amazing job and we will definitely stay here again!

We’ll be back!

Rented entire house to accommodate 5 co-workers and we will definitely return. Great location, quality furnishings, very clean, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked! We loved all the extras - games, variety of k cups, snacks, disposable razors and more. Location is great - easy to airport but also quick drive to downtown or to the lake.

Everything was perfect. Kyle is a gracious and thoughtful host, with all sorts of unexpected touches. Quick, complete, and professional communication. The house was perfect for 8 women celebrating a 60th birthday. Everyone wished we could stay another night!

A Milwaukee Gem

The Schlitz Castle provided a home base for 4 days and 3 nights of family adventures. Having rented multiple VRBO properties from coast to coast and throughout the Midwest, my family agrees that this was the best property yet. The layout fit our three-generation family of seven (2 seniors 3 adult children 2 grandchildren) to a tee. The 1st floor family room was perfect for family movie night. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were comfortable. The cabinets were incredibly stocked. The host was very responsive. Thanks, Kyle.

A great place for family

There were 12 of us, all ages, here for 4 nights. The area is walking distance to a park and easy access to anywhere in Milwaukee. Kyle was very helpful and responsive. A terrific host. There was an amazing amount of food, wine, and personal care items available for use. I did not read the description carefully enough to realize that 2 beds were on the couches. Also, there is an extra host fee for more than 8 people even though it sleeps 12. All in all, there are few places like this in Milwaukee and I would highly recommend it. Thank you, Kyle

One of the BEST experiences!

Overall, we votes as a family and this trip was one of our favorite stays! Kyle's communication from the start was on point! The Schlitz Castle is a two flat that gives everyone their own space- while also feeling like a very large single family. This home is also one of the most well appointed & generous on so many levels. My 17 yr old said this would be the house he’d stay at if there was a zombie apocalypse! No detail is left- the kitchen is fully stocked- including seasonings and the typical things you’d run out to the store for. Coffee, tea and mixers were ample! And there was a “just in case” basket of all the things travelers tend to forget. Kyle left us a welcome basket of snacks and goodies- simply thoughtful and such wonderful treatment. The Schlitz Castle made sure to make everyone feel as if we were truly at home away from home!

This property is just as wonderful as the pictures portray. (As we all know, photos can be misleading). It is very accommodating with so many extras. The host was available for any and all questions the Milwaukee area, not just about his "castle". Very happy we found it and would recommend without any reservation.
