This cabin was perfect for two people. While there is about a mile of gravel to get to it, it's not far to the town of Eufaula for eats, shopping and more great lake views. This cabin sits on a hill, so there are wonderful views of the lake from the front porch. We even had a male cardinal serenade us in the morning (I'm sure the host arranged that). We will definitely put it on our come back again list.

The window unit air conditioners are very loud, making it difficult to sleep. Also, much of the grout in the floor tiles in the bathroom was either missing or loose. The view from the window and deck was very good. Other than the gate and door codes, I never heard from the host.

Unfortunately the air units are not as quiet as central air and we apologize if it disrupted your sleep. Other than the grout repair, which we will add to our maintenance schedule, we are happy the rest of the property was satisfactory. We don't normally disrupt our guests' vacations but provide options for contacting us if needed. We do strive for 5 stars but appreciate each review we receive, thank you.

Well, mistakenly wrote my review of this wonderful cabin on a hotel site. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful mornings on the porch drinking our coffee and enjoying the lake view. One morning we had rain and found it just so pleasant to sit on the porch and listen to the gentle rain through the leaves on the trees. Even though other cabins are pretty close, the foliage blocks that view and you seem quite isolated. Would recommend for anyone needing a calm, restorative visit.

The cabin was decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully detailed. Everything was blue! Down to the shelf liner! Being detail people ourselves, we appreciated that. And that view!! Those sunsets!!

Quiet with a great view

This is a great place for a couple to get away for the weekend. We were in the area to fish and stayed in another cabin here last year we enjoyed, so we came back. Good value for the privacy and serene setting.

Relaxing getaway

Our stay was extremely relaxing and the views were amazing especially during the sunset on the deck. We had some questions before and during our stay and the owners responded quick and friendly. If you are looking for peaceful and relaxing getaway, we highly recommend this property!

Great getaway

We had a wonderful view of the lake from our balcony! Bed was giant and sooo comfortable! Awesome that there is hiking right outside the cabin! Thanks for a great stay!
