Very nice cabin, nice view, had everything we needed and the host responded to questions quickly. The last bit of the drive is a steep narrow switchback but our car and mid size suvs were able to make it. It’s within 30 minutes of hiking, waterfalls,and not far from Bristol caverns. Our family had a wonderful time!

This is an immaculate home with an amazing view of the lake. The driveway is paved but it is winding and steep—with any wet leaves all wheel or 4-wheel drive is needed.We didn’t venture to the dock as this was a hike but we did rent a pontoon boat from Fish Springs Marina and it was awesome to see the lake from the waterside. Christi our host was quick to communicate and make sure we were settled in and all our needs were met. Very good choice for a quiet retreat!!

House was perfectly described. We were unable to use washing machine, but host was communicative and apologized. The weather did not cooperate, but that is no one’s fault!! I would like to add disclaimer— though this house has lake access and private dock, reaching it is an undertaking. Dock access is not for the faint and should be taken into real consideration. Over all stay was wonderful for our family. Thank you for hosting us!!

The cabin was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The driveway was steep but manageable. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub on the property but it is still in the description on VRBO. We took our boat because the description said there was a private double deck boat dock. What it didnt say was that there is a pontoon boat parked there so we had to park it between 2 docks. The neigbors dock would move and hit our boat when the wind blew! Honestly, if we had known about the hot tub not being there and the dock not really being private/usable we wouldnt have booked this property!

I do apologize for the hot tub mistake. It was taken out by the hurrican. I thought we had removed all pictures and descriptions referring to the hot tub. It is a private dock, the boat belongs to us but we have removed our boat so you can now park underneath. We can not control our neighbors dock. Honestly you are the first person to make that complaint but it has been taken care of. Thank you for the feed back have a great day.

It was so clean and felt so homey. The porch views were incredible. Would love to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the amazing view of the stars. Check in was as easy as it gets.

Stay on Watauga Lake

Great place to stay and the host was very responsive to all questions we had. Great view of the lake from the balcony, were even able to see a bear down below. Definitely is a difficult walk to the boat dock, but can drive down to it. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Restful Time

We loved this property! We come to the lake every year and this property was well stocked and clean and allowed us to just relax! We loved the private dock!

Host was wonderful and had great communication!! House was beautiful and pictures do not do it justice! Two families and a total of 8 of us, there was plenty of space and the pool table was a huge hit, and the views from the living room and porch were breathtaking, felt very secluded and private. Saw deer the entire time we were there. Plenty of kitchen utensils to cook meals. We would definitely stay again, none of us wanted to leave!

Family weekend

Cabin with a fantastic view, hosts were very accommodating, we had a wonderful time. Would recommend to friends and visit again. Beautiful scenic hike to Laurel Falls 10 minutes down the road.

Very neatly maintained cabin with great view of the lake

We went there for guys weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful, very well maintained and has stock of everything that is required for quick trip. I would visit again.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The cabin was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we could possibly need. The large windows and stunning lake views made every morning feel like a postcard. The location was peaceful and private, yet still close to the water and outdoor activities. The host was responsive, friendly, and made the whole process effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway — we will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

Wonderful property!

This is our second visit to the property and we enjoyed just as much as our first visit. The cabin is very clean and we took full advantage of all the amenities that were offered including swimming off the dock to playing cards and pool in the game room. The owners are always very responsive and we look forward to staying here again soon!
