Dugi Rat holiday lettings

We have just arrived home. The villa is even better than the pictures. It's a mini palace. The owners are great and communicated well throughout. The pool is beautiful and the whole area is great with nice loungers and sofas, we used the BBQ area most nights, there is a full outdoor kitchen there with plates and cutlery etc. The setting is beautiful amongst the olive and lime trees. Bedrooms are great, nice mattresses, clean sheets, lots of towels, the most amazing views from the top view terraces. Each morning we loved rolling back the electric shutters to reveal amazing views of the sea. There is Aircon and TVs in all rooms. The owners have fully stocked the place, so lots of towels, there is everything you need in the kitchen. There was all the things you often don't get in villas like home made olive oil, loads of condiments, washing tablets, coffee pods etc. All you need to get is food. The town was perfect for us, 3 mins to the beach which has loads of beach bars and restaurants. There are a couple of small shops nearby and the Omis the big town which is also beautiful is 30 mins walk down the beach or 5 mins in the car. The sea is stunning and so clear. We had an incredible week in an amazing villa which had everything. T

Nives’ property in Duće is an absolute gem.Very spacious, immaculately clean and has everything you may want and more.A stone’s throw from the beach and a small harbour where you can rent a powerboat or other water craft and visit the many sites on the coast of the island of Brac too.Omiš is a short drive and this charming historic town has a plethora of fantastic places to eat and other more adventurous activities. Would highly recommend the rafting.Would highly recommend.

A beautiful property in Omis - the views are incredible, the stylish villa is beautifully presented and furnished. The pool area is stunning. Mario and Branka couldn't be more helpful and as owners it shows how much they care - they are great super hosts and always responsible. Highly recommend. Great from start to finish. We arrived a little late at night but this was no problem. The Villa was already stocked with essentials which was fantastic. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We were two families of three staying in this absolutely fantastic villa. Marina met us on check in and helped us navigate up a very hilly entrance in our hire cars, but my word was it worth it! This was the best view of any villa I have ever stayed at, wonderful combination of open Adriatic Sea and Dalmatian Mountains. Marina left us some lovely welcome items and even left us a lovely treat mid week after cleaning the amazing pool! We cannot overstate how great this location is, a VIlla but withing walking distance of several good restaurants and beach bars but also totally private. The standard of decor and fixtures in the property is top class. It is clear the owners take immense pride in the property. We would not hesitate to recommend this Villa. Absoultely amaxing with a great and friendly host to help you through all steps!

Fabulous villa with a modern design. Host was superb and could not do enough to ensure our stay went smoothly. Area was convenient and clean with some good local bars. I would recommend this for families and friends who still want to be in reach of busy towns but need their own space.

Such an amazing place. Everything you could want. The accommodation was immaculate. The interior exterior was superb. The host was super friendly and very welcoming made us feel at home. Local restaurants beaches great and all in close distance if the villa. All we can say is amazing you will not be disappointed in this villa. Will definitely return thank you.

Our two families have just returned from an unforgettable two weeks at Villa Draga. The villa has just been completely renovated to an extremely high standard. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is clear to see and the villa is very well appointed. Everything works as it should including the air conditioning in every room. Whilst the pictures look good, they actually can’t do justice to either the villa or the views across the sea to the island of Brac. The raised sun deck with partial shade is the perfect place to sit and read, have an evening drink or just watch the world go by whilst gazing at the azure waters. The villa is looked after by Lidija and Vlado and you couldn’t ask for better hosts; friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, helpful. They can arrange just about anything for you and are happy to do so. They really add another dimension to the villa. The villa is located right on the beach in Duce. Directly in front of the villa is a sort of small harbour area where small boats are moored. Here you can hire motor boats (a licence is required for the faster boats but not the smaller boats) - and the prices are much cheaper than in Omis. You can also rent jet skis, go parasailing, or take banana boat rides - again, all at extremely reasonable rates. All of this adds to the ambience without being intrusive - you hear no noise from any of this whilst lazing by the pool. Just to the left of the villa is a beach. Here you can find a very conveniently located snack bar which serves, amongst other things, delicious crepes. Walk on a little further and you come to some beach bars and restaurants. A couple of things to note. The traffic queues into Omis from both directions along the main road. This means the availability of taxis is unpredictable - not really a problem as it’s only 2km to the very centre of Omis but worth knowing. Also, the fresh water from the Cetina River, which makes Omis such a stunning location with plenty of activities, flows into the sea at Duce. This makes the water noticeably cooler and also creates a blurry haze when you are snorkelling. None of that detracts from the wonderful time we had at the villa. We already want to go back!
