Casa Camaleao with garden and pool

Casa Camaleao is located in Porches, just after Armacao de Pera, and is set in Portugal's beautiful Mediterranean landscape, in the ‘Vale de Olival’, the valley of olives. The house is situated on a gentle hill just before the valley. The beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only a few minutes' drive away.

The two-storey furnished villa impresses with its traditional Portuguese design, yet has all the high-quality and modern amenities to guarantee visitors' comfort.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living and dining room and a large kitchen with access to the terrace. A wonderful place to enjoy a warm cup of coffee at sunrise and savour the peace and quiet. There is also a secluded covered barbecue area. Casa Camaleao has a beautiful, well-tended garden with a large swimming pool. Sun loungers are of course also available for your use.

Upstairs there are two bathrooms and two bedrooms with enchanting views of the valley of olive trees, in a mild oceanic climate.

Casa Camaleao is partially air-conditioned and has satellite TV (all German-language channels) and Meo TV (over 100 Portuguese channels, series and films, some in the original English language) with fast fibre optic internet.

There is a small riding stable just a few metres from Casa Camaleao.

Shopping facilities are located in the immediate vicinity. The pedestrian zone of Armacao de Pera is only a few minutes away by car.

Great place, a tiny minus for the number of mosquitos.

Clean and tidy house, rural and peaceful area, a short distance from the coast and the inland village with a couple of excellent restaurants. The air-conditioning was out of order in one of the rooms, but the attentive owner fixed it in a short time. The pool was clean and inviting. The house is surrounded by greenery, making for a secluded stay. The only minus is a small pond close to the outside eating area, an unfortunate breeding ground for mosquitos.

Beautiful house but in need of some maintenance. Bed sheets didn't feet and most of the blankets had stains on it. It seemed like they had never been washed before. Internet didn't work. Beautiful and clean pool. The house is in a perfect location.

Excellent séjour…. Belle piscine bien entretenue et emplacement de la maison parfait. Une ou deux petites choses négatives néanmoins, comme les moustiques nombreux tous les soirs sur la terrasse pendant le dîner, ce qui rend cette partie de la journée pénible, même en installant des bougies à la citronnelle. Nous avons remarqué qu'il y a de l'eau stagnante en contre-bas de la terrasse, ce qui contribue à la prolifération des moustiques. Les matelas dans les chambres ne sont pas de très bonne qualité, ni les draps… sans parler de couettes qui en Eté sur un lit ne sont pas supportables. De simples draps seraient sans doute préférables…
