A relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay, the condo is nothing fancy but had everything we needed including a box of toys for my son and a high chair we greatly appreciated! Beautiful sunset views, we loved relaxing pool side watching the sun go down nightly.

Lovely property and nice quiet location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Randall and Sharon’s beachfront condo. We had everything we needed for a longer-term rental. The beachfront location was amazing. It was very quiet and the other tenants were very friendly.

Incredible location.

Location was fantastic and we did see dolphins from the balcony, as advertised. Randall was very responsive to any questions from the initial booking right up until the time we left. Have rented through VRBO before and so were surprised to find food in refrigerator and cupboard upon arrival, but Randall said "use it or toss it", so we made space for our stuff. House was well stocked and closets full of puzzles, books, games, toys, etc, for anyone traveling with a family. Staying here was more like staying at a house belonging to a family member, as opposed to an unknown host. Location, location, location!

The best place to relax in Florida!!!

My wife and I loved the location of the condo and were able to walk to some wonderful restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was the Frog Pond which had the best breakfast I have ever had. We also enjoyed the Conch Republic for dinner, and the service was great. We were given lots of great tips and ideas by the owner which helped us enjoy our trip even more. We were amazed at the cleanliness and quality of the condo. We were able to just go and enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed John's Pass, it was a nice place to walk around and see all the shops. We were even able to see some dolphins surfacing. It is so nice to be able to just walk out on the balcony and see the oceans waves crashing into the shore. We loved the morning walks on the nice sandy beach. This was the most relaxing trip we have been on and will definitely be wanting to go back again.

Great location

The building and location were very nice. Other residents were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool deck. Pool heater wasn’t working. I was surprised when we arrived at the steps to enter. We never discussed handicap accessible. I was recovering from spine surgery and was challenged by the steps both front and to the pool. The unit was full of the family’s personal things. Closets were full. Little room for our belongings. Owner said he wanted guests to feel at home. If I wanted to feel at home, I would have stayed home. I wanted a beach vacation. Loved the sunsets!!!

No Central Air Conditioning in a Florida Summer

The rental unit was a well-furnished two bedroom condominium on the Gulf of Mexico in the St. Petersburg, FL area with a fully equipped kitchen. It is near grocery stores, restaurants and beaches. Upon arrival I could not operate televisions in the bedroom or living room. No instructions were provided. I spent two and a half hours on the phone with the owner and Spectrum and still could not get full operation. Spectrum sent technician on July 4 to finally correct problem on my fifth day there. I don't want to have to wait for the cable guy when I am on vacation. On July 5, I noticed that room temperature had risen and subsequently found out that AC system had gone out. AC workers would not return for another week and then said they could not complete job because lines for refrigerant were in the walls and the responsibility of condo association. AC company provided a portable AC unit for the bedroom which was noisy at night and did not cool entire unit. I did not have central AC for 16 of the 21 days of my stay during a Florida summer. Two weeks ago, I asked the owner for compensation for this time and time without cable TV service. He did not agree to my request and has not contacted me since then to make a counter offer. His policy on the website stated that any leftover food could be left in the refrigerator and .subsequent tenants could use it or throw it away. I was shocked when I read this in the time of Covid19. You would not know how the food was handled or if it was stored or refrigerated properly. So I had to spend time on my second day, cleaning out the refrigerator to make room for what I had bought. I don't want to spend time cleaning out the refrigerator when I am on vacation. My other issue is that there was little storage space in closets or dresser drawers because the owner had so much of his personal belongings in the unit. It was like staying in someone's home rather than in a hotel or rental property. The description of the property says that 5 persons could stay in the unit, but they would have no place to unpack their suitcases as most people want to do during an extended stay of 3 weeks to a month. It is a nice condominium but cleaning out someone else's food and having five appointments with the cable TV guy and AC guys made the experience much less enjoyable. I am disappointed that the owner still has offered me no compensation for this.

Great beach location

We had a nice, long stay at this well stocked, ideally situated beach condo. Condo has everything you need for a great time including beach stuff and a well stocked kitchen, though we mostly chose to enjoy the fabulous local restaurants. Excellent location on the nicest part of the beach. Spectacular, newly updated pool deck with gas grills available. The heated pool was always warm and we swam every day. Other residents were very friendly and welcoming at this well maintained condo complex.

Amazing vacations!

We spent a very pleasant month on the beach! The location of the apartment is wonderful, super “private beach”, swimming pool and barbecue excellent in front of the ocean! excellent restaurants close by and many supermarket options around. There are many residents in the building, most of them very polite and friendly, unfortunately some of us think they must not like visitors and were extremely rude and mean not only to the children but also to the adults. But unfortunately rude people exist everywhere… Anyway we would love to visit again and hope to come back soon! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Randall. You have a home in a very special place!

Wonderful in every way

Randall is a gracious and experienced host. He was responsive to our questions as they arose. The condo is spacious and well appointed. The neighbors are great. There’s usually a fresh sand sculpture each week. Redington is the locals beach. The balcony is mesmerizing. The sunsets are something you won’t want to miss. The TVs are great. The internet is fast. We loved it and hope to be able to return.

Everything we hoped for and even more!!

The condo was perfect for our family vacation. Randall was very helpful and easy to work with and available if needed. Their property was stocked to make our time easy and comfortable. We loved the view and the area beaches, and heated swimming pool. we didn't have to go far for fun. On top of the condo being great, the other people staying at the property were kind and helpful with tips on where to go or eat. This was our first experience renting a condo and it was such a great experience all around.

Blessing from God

When I unexpectedly received a call that my father was in critical condition in the hospital we had to leave that day to travel to Florida. We needed something affordable and for longer than a few weeks and we were blessed to find this little gem. Wonderful area and the beach not busy at all. We were able to find respite in our downtime at the condo in between visiting my father and handling his affairs. The Munson’s property was truly a lighthouse in this storm during my life. Losing my father was the hardest thing I have endured thus far and the ease and comfort of this property helped soothe my soul during this difficult time. We needed an additional week to tie up some things andMr. Munson was very accommodating. We are forever grateful.

Best Vacation Yet!

My family, along with my parents, rented the condo for a month. Myself, husband, parents, and 2 boys age 11 & 9. All six of us weren't there at the same time the entire time, but when we were, there was plenty of room. The condo was clean and fully stocked with anything and everything. The bathrooms are remodeled nicely. The patio/balcony is the perfect place for evening meals or morning coffee. It is a small complex with friendly people. The pool is super nice. The beach is amazing and the sunsets were out of this world. We saw dolphins swimming by every single night. Contact with the Munsons was easy, but really not necessary as everything went super smooth. The internet worked great, everything was easy to find, and their instructions were easily followed. If you rent you absolutely must drive 4 miles North for THE BEST ICECREAM ON THIS PLANET at Haze Ice Cream in Indian Shores. They make everything right there from scratch with all natural ingredients. JD's and The Pub up in the same area are also fantastic. The Conch Republic Grill is another favorite that is within walking distance of the condo. And if you love to make your own fresh seafood, visit The Reef Seafood Market in Redington Shores. The shrimp comes fresh off the boat to their back door everyday and is out of this world. John's Pass is only about a mile or 2 south. (Visit on week nights to avoid the crazy crowds there) We definitely hope to be returning next year. Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Munson for sharing.

Perfect for a family vacation

We love coming back to this condo for our family vacations. The unit itself is wonderful and very relaxing, and the building is situated on one of the loveliest stretches of beach along the Gulf of Mexico. There are two spacious bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, and the remodeling done a few years ago is incredible. Very nearby are many excellent restaurants (such as The Conch Republic), shops (malls and other retail) and other attractions (like John's Pass), not to mention attractions in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Even Disney World and Universal Studios are close enough for a fun day trip. It feels like home away from home, and I cannot wait to get back there!

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo! The living room furniture is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal. Our children LOVED swimming in the very clean pool that looks over the beach. I really loved reading under the shade of the tree on the patio, looking out over the Gulf. All the condo residents are so friendly and helpful. The owner, Randall, was so helpful during our dealings and helped answer all our questions. He is also excellent at responding promptly to emails. There are many restaurants within walking distance and John's Pass is just a short drive down the road. There's also an excellent restaurant in Clearwater, Villa Bellini, that we highly recommend. You can also enjoy Keegan's which is close by and was featured on television. Plenty of grocery stores in the area as well as Ward's Seafood Market in Belleair Bluffs and Mazzaro's Italian Market in St. Pete's. Great area for foodies!! We really enjoyed our breakfast and snacking as well as many other meals on the condo balcony, overlooking the Gulf, and watching the gorgeous sunsets by the pier. The dining room table is large and comfortable and accommodated our family of 4 extremely well with lots of room left over! The beach was lovely, not overcrowded, mostly just used by guests of the condo so, often, we had it all to ourselves! We collected beautiful shells, especially after some of the thunderstorms that came through the area this summer as they wash up on shore. We didn't need to go shelling anywhere else as we found plenty right at home! We saw so, so many manatees that swim gently by and once, we were thrilled to see a mother and baby manatee swim right next to us in the Gulf. We also saw plenty of dolphins. One evening, my husband and I were walking on the beach and counted 8 dolphins that were so close to shore, it was astonishing--only a few waves away from the beach! Plenty of photo ops for those of you that enjoy photography! We also highly recommend the Sea Screamer in Tampa Bay. You can take this speedboat from Pier 60 in Clearwater. It's a one-hour ride and very fast! Prepare to get wet and to see dolphins jumping! Can't wait to return to this condo next year!! 10+

Everything was perfect - even better than we expected!

Everything was perfect - even better than we expected! We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo unit, the grounds and building are clean and well maintained. The residents and guests are very friendly and welcoming. Nightly residents and guests gather on the patio to watch the sunset. The pool is heated and well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils. The master bedroom is very large and a nice master bathroom.

Lovely Condo with excellent Location

We spent the month of Dec., 2010, at this lovely, tastefully decorated condo. All was there that one might need. Each day we spent relaxing on the beach, as well as taking in some of the many activities available in the area, always making it back to the condo in time to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the condo's balcony each evening. Our daughter + her family were able to visit us over the Christmas holidays + our grandchildren enjoyed collecting a wide variety of sea shells on the beach, finding an occasional sharks's tooth, as well as day trips to Kennedy Space Center + Disney World. They also enjoyed seeing a lighted boat parade, visiting the Florida aquarium, which included a "touch tank" of stingrays + baby sharks, touring the U.S. Navy American Victory Ship, souvenir shopping + dolphin watching at John's Pass Village, + seeing the pelicans at St. Petersburg Pier and manatees at Apollo Beach. There are also numerous museums in the area of art, science, history, and the Chihuly + Dali Museum exhibits. Several state parks are within a short driving distance with beaches named in Dr. Beach's list of top beaches in the United States. Many excellent restaurants are closeby, serving the "fresh catch" of the day. One can see there is plenty to keep one busy, if one desires. The Munsons were very pleasant + most helpful, since this was our first experience with renting from a VRBO owner. We highly recommend this condo for its pristine condition, situated on a beautiful beach, its central location to the areas of Clearwater, St. Pete + Tampa and its convenient proximity to a wide variety of enjoyable indoor + outdoor activities available nearby + in the surrounding area.

A great experiece!!!

We had a wonderful month here... It was as described, actually even better, because no new pictures were available since the re-modeling, The owner was very accomodating, and answered all of our questions. It was quiet, and at times we had the pool all to ourselves. The same for the beach, we were there the month of July, and even the week of the fourth, except for that weekend, the beach was usually not very crowded at all, we would "set up" right behind the condo. Now for my favorite part, the fishing.. There is a small private pier that belongs to the condo next door. Of course it is for their use, but you can still fish from the beach right under and around it.. It provides cover, and attraction for a wide variety of fish. I caught an 8 pound Snook the second day we were there, also during our stay I caught Redfish, Spainish Mackerel, rays, and catfish..I only got to stay the first 8-9 days of the month and the last 10, but my wife was there the whole month, with each of our 3 grown children, dropping in for a week or so stay at staggerred times. It is nicely decorated, and if we get to stay another month in the future, I will definately contact Randall first. Randall had a contact that is a permanent resident on the same floor to assist us if we needed anything, which was re-assuring. It was a great time and I would highly reccomend it. Its an easy drive from the St.Pete/Clearwater airport, and the Beach shuttle bus runs by at least every 30 minutes, you could get by nicely even withoug a car.

Un site enchanteur

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour dans ce condo .L'emplacement est idéal et pittoresque. Le condo était très accueillant,propre et agréablement meublé.Nous nous sentions chez-nous. Les personnes dans l'établissement étaient très accueillantes et discrètes. Nous avons trouvé que le propriétaire était intéressé à notre comfort et était disponible en cas d'urgence. Nous n'hésitons pas à recommander ce condo à ceux qui aiment marcher le long de la plage, admirer le soleil couchant et entendre le bruit des vagues. Highly recommended without any hesitation.

A little bit of paradise

I have had the pleasure of staying at this condo a few times. It is located on a beautiful part of the white sandy Gulf beaches and is just minutes away from fantastic food, fun and shopping. There's a lot to do in the Tampa Bay area, and this condo is just about in the perfect spot to get to all of it with very little hassle, not to mention Orlando being less than 2 hours away. The owners recently updated most of the interior of the condo and it is absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait to go back!

The quiet beach, the Gulf of Mexico, the dolphins, and the most beautiful sunsets in the world just make us happy every time we are here. Our fiends love to visit us here and enjoy relaxing on the beach and swimming in the ocean and private pool. We've had renters from all over the US and around the world and they always love it here and many return over and over.
