My family really enjoyed their stay while in town for my son’s wedding. The home was spacious, comfortable, clean, and very inviting. It is located in a lovely area with scenic views and many dining options within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house if your travels bring you to the area. The decor alone will make you feel as though you are sharing cherished family memories.

This house is everything I dreamed of and more! We used it to get ready for our wedding and take pictures. The Victorian decor and the beautiful architecture made it beyond gorgeous. We were so sad to leave! The check in and and check out process was easy, and Glynis is a responsive and kind host. Thanks for being a part of our weekend, we hope to stay here again in the future

Everything about the property exceeded our expectations—the house and rooms were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated how well stocked everything was (kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc.). We even got the jukebox working and had a blast shooting pool and playing games. Great little town too, and we enjoyed the view of the river.Would definitely stay again when we need a big house.

Best Place Ever

This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. Glynnis is a wonderful host and the house is great.

Youngstown Gem

This home is beautiful and full of history and character. The town is charming, and the people are very friendly. It was our home base for trips to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. All five of us have wondrful memories of this home and town.

family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The house was lean, had everything we needed and 4 out of the 5 bedrooms had their own bathrooms! Lots of space for everyone. The two porches are amazing! We spent a lot of time on them. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

The house was absolutely beautiful. Everyone had their own rooms (and bathrooms!). The pool table and jute box were so much fun. The house had everything we could need. And the location was perfect. Youngstown is such a cute down and it’s also not far from Lewiston or Niagara Falls. Thank you for a great family trip!

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful and full of everything you would need and then some. This was by far the best place we’ve rented. We would stay again if we ever go back that ways. No complaints!

Would love to return

This property was wonderful. We so enjoyed lounging on the porches while enjoying the views and activity of a small town. There were ten of us over three generations and after a week we were sad to go.

Perfect Family Meeting Place

The home is fantastic for family of all ages. Many amenities. The kids (including adults to age 5) enjoyed playing billiards. We had great walks about Youngstown with all its history (including the property’s history) as well as local market and restaurants. So near to so many sight seeing places like Maid of Mist, Fort Niagara and Tuscarora State Park. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Many Thanks to our Hosts

Spacious and fun!

This property is very clean and well organized. It is a spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful area. The surrounding towns and tourist attractions are a reasonable distance and easy to navigate for day trips. The pool table and outdoor porches at this property provide a fun and relaxing spot to unwind at the end of the day. The host is very attentive if needed. Loved our stay here!

The Pace

Every thing was better than we expected. We got to meet Glynis and her husband. They are around if you need them. If we are ever in the area we would definitely stay there again. The place is very close to the Niagara Falls attractions.

Awesome

The house is impressive. It is decorated with wonderful furnishings and some whimsy. The location is great for walking in the village, going to the Yacht Club, The Stone Jug for music and to Fort Niagara. The front porch is great for people watching and having a cocktail.

Lives up to its name”This must be the place!”

We were in Youngstown for a family reunion. Our children joined us from Ohio and Brooklyn, New York. The house worked out perfectly, very clean, lots of space and a good location. We loved the Niagara Falls memorabilia, paintings and history. An easy walk to Fort Niagara and the river. We especially loved the porches. Overall a delightful place to stay.

Absolute Perfection! An Exceptional Stay for Our Large Group Our group of ten recently stayed at this incredible property in Youngstown, NY and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless.The home itself is stunning—beautiful, exceptionally clean, thoughtfully well-appointed, and equipped with excellent A/C. It is ideally located close to many area attractions, yet situated in a wonderfully quiet setting that almost makes you feel like you are stepping back in time.What truly blew us away was the home's construction. The way the house was built makes it incredibly quiet; you cannot hear anyone inside the house or anything happening outside. Even with ten of us staying there, it was so peaceful that it frequently felt like I was the only person in the house! When we did gather, the awesome dining table easily accommodated all ten of us to sit, talk, and share a meal together. We also spent a lot of time relaxing on the incredible outdoor porch.Beyond the gorgeous property, the host was the absolute best. Incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect.As a bonus, the property offers a beautiful, scenic ride straight to Niagara Falls. If you are looking for a pristine home, a peaceful atmosphere, and a world-class hosting experience, look no further. We would give this stay 10 stars if we could! Amazing family home

The property was beautiful! It was so nice and clean with every amenity you can think of. Glynis was so kind and responded quickly to all my questions! We stayed with a large group including 3 smaller kids. The neighborhood was fantastic and safe. We had a great time enjoying the local shops and loved sitting on the porch sharing stories. Would stay again! 10/10

House and locals where amazing great hospitality. The owner became a friend just a text away to answer any questions We just didn’t stay long enough my only disappointment. We all want to come back and stay here again. Wonderful experience. A wonderful memory to look back on. 💕😊

Friendsgiving!

This Must Be The Place was absolutely lovely, it provided plenty of room for two families with teens, tweens and children. We both have kids in college in NY so they met us in Youngstown and we went on adventures for Thanksgiving break. Youngstown and Lewiston have small shops and coffee, diners and bakeries to fill a day. We traveled to Niagara Falls and crossed the border - everything is close enough but spread out enough to keep it country. We loved the space and enjoyed our time. Grateful to Glynis and hopeful to return again someday.

Amazing

This Must Be the Place is a great property! The listing descriptions and pictures are accurate. We had plenty of room for our group of ten. The location is great- walking distance to the river and shops and within a short drive to Niagara Falls. The house is uniquely designed, comfortable, and clean. The only drawback is the lack of couches or other seating for large groups. The weather was great when we visited though, so we spent most of our sitting around on the porch.

Perfection

Our family came up to celebrate my brothers birthday, as he lives nearby. The house was more than I could have asked for. Everything was perfect. Everybody loved the house, the attention to detail in every room is unbelievable. Glynis was super kind, accommodating and helpful. I may have set the bar too high with this place. My family has been spoiled and will expect this every time. I guess it means we will have to return soon. Thanks for a great visit Glynis!
