Bring the whole family for a fun-filled getaway in this great place with plenty of room for everyone! Built in 1853, our historic home blends timeless character with modern comforts, offering a unique and memorable Galveston experience. This home is located within walking distance to Historical Downtown Galveston, gift shops, bars, and restaurants. Also approximately 1 mile from the Beach and the Pleasure Pier. Free parking on premises for 4 cars. The ideal location for night before cruise stay.


Please note: Security cameras are located at the front door entrance and front porch, backdoor entrance, backyard and front upper balcony.

Gardener is on property every other day to water the plants. You may see her during you stay.

Great location to the wedding event we were in town for. So close to the Strand and all the locations in that area. Very safe and secure.

The house was beautiful! Definitely an older home but the furniture and amenities were great! The location is perfect, a quick walk to the Strand and a short drive to the beach. The host was very sweet and make the check in very smooth. Would recommend!

We stayed at Wendy's for memorial day weekend. It was a wonderfully stay! It is a lovely home with everything we needed. Parking is great and I loved how calm and quiet the neighborhood was. Home was clean and best of all was that Wendy was always available for any questions we had. Definitely recommend! Family friendly for sure! Thank you Wendy!

House was very clean and was well equipped. The rooms also have a different layout than in the pictures. There was still enough beds for our group but one room is inside another room. Which was not listed. It was a bit hot could benefit from some extra vans. The ac on the first floor worked great the second floor not so much. House was super cute!

Perfect location

This house was just perfect for our Mardi Gras staycation! It was the perfect location to enjoy the parades and all that Galveston has to offer.

Great location for walking to everything downtown. Great off street parking and we loved the backyard area. Nice large fridge to hold all of our drinks and food! Host was an excellent communicator!

The home is beautiful and was perfect for our group. The home was super clean and stocked well with towels and basic amenities. Easy access to the strand and seawall. The host was friendly and responded quickly.

Family vacation!

We had such a great time here the backyard was spacious and the bedrooms were very large with plenty of space. I just wish there was more drawer and closet place but other then that the house great!

This house was amazing for my family of 9, the rooms are big and the extra beds made it super comfortable for each person to basically have their own bed. It was clean and comfortable, the host was very communicative and answered every concern we had. We will definitely be staying at this house again sometime in the future!

Comfortable Historic Home!

House very clean, beds comfortable and plenty of parking! Host was very friendly and responsive. We needed to be in this Strand area for my daughter’s wedding a block away from The Lyceum. Great house for a group with lots of seating/conversation areas. Only a short walk to Strand. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Home! Great Location!

We were in Galveston for the Lonestar Rally, the house is in a great location with only a short walk to the Strand. The house is beautiful, spacious and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The patio areas are wonderful, wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the spaces. Wendy was a great host and communication was great from the time of booking.
