'Beach Getaway' is your luxury beach house with over 3600+ square feet to enjoy your time 'away from it all'. Situated directly across from the best beach access, Beach Getaway delivers gorgeous views of the Ocean from all of its FOUR BALCONIES. Tan by the pool, nap on the porch, cook in the kitchen, play in the kids room- you'll have a vacation to remember.

Throughout the house, you can expect to find the normal amenities you associate with luxury-- granite counters, a wet-bar with wine fridge, 15 ft of mirrors and a hot tub in the Main Bath, plasma TV's, and and a remarkable view from every window. When you're done relaxing on the beach, a private pool (ambient temperature) and patio awaits you to unwind. If cooking perks your interest, you'll find an immense kitchen complete with everything you'll need to make a special dinner. Family can mingle at the kitchen island or kitchen serving bar. The house even has a business cubby for checking email and staying connected.

Updates: an addition of a Bedroom and Kid's Room were completed to the third floor, as well as adding a balcony to relax by the ocean. The home is in excellent condition and is maintained weekly by its owners. You'll find FOUR well appointed bedrooms that sleep 18 in quiet comfort. There's no 'cramming in' at Beach Getaway because of the ample space each bedroom provides. Whether you're staying for a weekend, a week, or longer, Beach Getaway will serve as your private oasis.

Great stay

Was a great house. Came for spring break with a group of 12. There was plenty of room and it was a great location. Appliances could be updated, water from the fridge was slow to come out and the oven took awhile to heat up.. other than that great experience and I highly recommend this place.

A Place to Make Lifelong Memories

The property is amazing, and was one of the highlights of our vacation in South Padre. Walking distance to the beach, and ample space and amenities. Host was very responsive. Minor issue with the washing machine didn’t overshadow a wonderful visit

The place was a 3 story condo with two rooms on the first floor and two rooms on the third floor. The second floor was the living area and kitchen. The only hiccup was that the A/C was not working on the second and third floor for the first night. The owner was very responsive and got it fixed immediately once we notified him. Location was great as the beach was a short walk, right across the street. Located near everything. Lots of space and ammenities. I would highly recommend this place.

Very family friendly

The house was perfect for our large family. Everyone had their own space. Our favorite spots were the large living area and pool where we could hang out together. The beach was so close. Our whole family enjoyed this beautiful home. Our host quickly attended to all issues that came up.

Spacious getaway for a big group

My family and I stayed here over Easter weekend. The layout allowed for seclusion for our multiple families when we desired it, and the spacious family living room/kitchen level was a great “home base” for everyone to gather. Right on Gulf Blvd, you are directly from a nice public beach access point, so that was perfect. The beds could have been more comfortable, but aside from that, it was a great stay for us! Host was excellent with communication and setting our group up for a fun stay. House was well stocked with kitchen fixtures, so you won’t need to be worry about much there.

Loved it!

Literally a perfect location, 10 steps to the beach. House was beautiful and clean! Comfortably held 18, though, I wish there would have been pull out couches. However, super comfortable couches! Walks to the bars or restaurants were about 40 mins max in either direction. We had a great time grilling and hanging out by the pool on a cloudy and windy day. So many balconies! We really had a great time in this house!

Great location, helpful owner, needs maintenance.

I can’t say enough about the owner. He was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We had a great time and the island is beautiful. However; This property is in need of some maintenance. The upstairs AC unit was not working during our stay. Luckily it was only 75 outside and wasn’t too uncomfortable. The light in the upstairs bathroom toilet room didn’t work. The shared bathroom door didn’t have a working lock. The bunk bed bolts were loose and did not feel secure.. the railing on the top floor porch was loose. There were just a bunch of random deferred maintenance issues.

Beautiful beach house and the perfect location

The home was beautiful and spacious! Location was perfect right across the street from the beach with ocean views. What you see in the photos is what you get! We had an awesome time! Adam, our host was available and professional. I had a couple concerns and he handled them with immediately. My family and I are planning to go back to Padre again at the end of the summer, and I plan to book this property again for our stay. This home is perfect for a large group!

This house is a perfect location for a larger group. We had 9 adults and 2 teenagers and everybody was happy with house. Communication with the homeowner was fast and helpful. We’ll likely stay here again.

Beautiful home, just steps from the beach.

This home had everything that we needed for a large family gathering. Plenty of room for all..a large living room for family gatherings and the bonus space upstairs was great for the teens in our group. The private swimming pool was a great addition to our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the large Weber gas grill worked great for our big family meals. Adam and Cara were wonderful hosts! They were oh so patient while we worked out an invoice issue qith HomeAway. We'll stay here again when we come back to SPI!
