Looking for a great place to stay within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Bar Harbor and near Acadia National Park? Then this is your vacation place to stay. Located in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor is this cute townhouse (end unit). Nicely appointed with most of what you will need to make your stay comfortable. Set just off Cottage Street in a private parking area, it has a quiet feel to the area yet still in the heart of all the action!

Furnished with three bedrooms, one with a king, one with a queen and a third bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa. The third bedroom can also function as a second place to hang out with convenient access to the back patio. Air conditioning units located in all three bedrooms as well as the living room.

Cafe's, restaurants, shops, supermarket and the waterfront are all within 2 to 5 minutes from the property. Acadia National Park is just a short drive away. Bar Island, a great little hike is about a quarter mile away. Free parking for two cars back to back is available.

Perfect location to stay. Very walkable into town, boat tours and to walk the natural bridge during low tide. A ten minute drive to Acadia. The home is very clean and kitchen is well stocked for making meals.

This property has the perfect location! Being a block back from Cottage gave a safe, easy place to park and plenty of privacy while still being close enough to walk everywhere. Very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated all of the towel racks…so many times rentals have one tiny rack and we end up hanging towels over doors and closets. The family room area was comfortable and enough seating that we all had a place to relax on a rainy afternoon. I would highly recommend this property when staying in Bar Harbor.

Bar Harbor stay

This place was very clean, quiet, and definitely well-located for us as we didn't want to have to drive everytime we wanted to go downtown. We were able to walk to the various shops and restaurants nearby and downtown. We are so glad we chose to stay here.

Loved the property. Super convenient and quiet location that was walkable to everything in town. Veena is a great host. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Excellent host, location can't be beat! The inside of the building had a hard time fighting the humidity, so everything always felt a little bit wet. (we were also there during a rainy week!). I couldn't let any clothes air dry, so keep that in mind while packing. Lots of ant traps, but we only saw one ant, so they are clearly working! Beds are on the firm side. Loved the 3 floors for our family of 4. Our kids could be FAR away from each other which they appreciated! Kitchen and house overall was well-equipped, and we really appreciated the washer/dryer. Hannaford is 2 blocks away, which is super convenient! We had plenty of hot water. The outside space is off of the downstairs bedroom, and is really just a small fenced in area with a picnic table and grill. We did not use it at all. We would absolutely consider staying again. Review of our preteen daughter: It was a great location. It’a very pretty and clean. It's right next to everything, and they supply you with almost everything you need. Review of our 8 year old son: I think it was very nice and enjoyable, comfortable. I liked the TV in my room downstairs. The desk is also very cool. The bathroom was very clean but the shower is small and I had a hard time turning it on. The living room is very nice. I liked it!*we did not take any pictures of the property, as we spent most of our time exploring!*we have too many local recommendations to share, but we will post it @kidscomewith as this is our 3rd trip to MDI!

Great location - Spacious and clean!

This location is unbeatable- walking distance to town but quiet area. Coffee shop literally down the driveway for morning goodies. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, updated kitchen, very clean and the downstairs tv area a perfect getaway area. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, well-stocked house

This is our third time staying in this house, and we love it so much that we've already reserved a week for 2024. The house is very comfortable and has everything needed for a relaxing vacation.
