Deep water canal front adorable cottage! Well kept and clean!

Very comfortable and clean canal home cottage! This wonderful canal front home offers great views of the marsh and the waterway! With a covered back porch, you can still sit out there during a light to moderate rain without getting wet! The Crow's Nest is no longer available to access. New in 2023, the Guest bath has been remodeled, and new carpet in the bedrooms! Relax on the covered back porch overlooking the canal. In the hot afternoons, there is an outdoor living space under the home complete with a sectional sofa, coffee table, chairs, and a picnic table. Inside the home offers 3 Bedrooms (all with Queen beds), a portacrib for the small ones, 2 full Baths, Well stocked kitchen with a couple of bar stools. Living and Dining rooms open with vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room, and all bedrooms! There is also an enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing off all the sand and deck seating on that level as well. For all your grilling needs, we offer a Blackstone gas griddle and charcoal grill! For the person who loves kayaking, there is an available kayak for your use. We are a Sunday to Sunday rental in the summer months. Beds are made up and ready for you! Just bring your towels that you need for the week. Offering 4 night minimums now. Currently we are not pet friendly. No smoking in the house. There are two exterior cameras for security purposes only.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please strip each bed and put the sheets in a pillowcase in each room. Also put the blankets beside the sheets as we wash those each week as well.
Trash is picked up early on Saturday mornings and Tuesday mornings. Please make sure the cans are out by the road the night before.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The Crow's Nest is no longer available to guests.
No smoking in the home but allowed outside with proper disposal of butts. Do not throw them in the yard please.
There are two exterior cameras for security purposes only.

This was an absolute amazing place. Barbra was wonderful throughout our entire stay. I took my 3 siblings on a little getaway like we do every year, and this was by far their favorite! The general store and ice cream shop were big hits! Love this place.

Barbara's house was perfect for our family. The boys could fish and kayak right at the house from the dock. The house is just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Summer vacation

The property was just as described, very clean, and perfect for our family of 4. There were beach chairs provided which was very nice. It was a short walk to the beach. Our son loved fishing in the canal. We all enjoyed the back deck in the mornings and late evenings. Barbara was super responsive and very easy to work with.

I was born and raised in South Florida where we lived on a canal at one of the beaches, so I was driving our boat in elementary school! Salt water runs through my blood, and when we had an opportunity to purchase a home in Holden Beach back in 2004, we chose to be on a canal for the great boating access. My husband and I are both Realtors having been in the business since 1978! We have two sons, a daughter in law, and two precious grandchildren who all love the beach! We know you will love our small little house as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

This home offers a lot of the same comforts as your own home! We chose this one because of the great views of the marsh and the waterway, yet tucked back on the canal. We love the outdoor living areas, and the kids love crabbing and fishing right off the dock! There are TV's in all the bedrooms as well as the Living room.

What makes this property unique

We love being on a canal and the beach access, convenience store and ice cream shop are right at the end of the street! After dinner, you can stroll up the street and treat yourselves to an ice cream. The outdoor living room is a great place to get out of the sun and relax or read a book.
