Absolutely wonderful!

This was just what we needed for a relaxing week away! The property was the nicest we had stayed at by far, very clean and very well stocked for any cooking you may do. The host, Amy, was extremely responsive and gave us many recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Our favorite thing was the pool, by far. We spent all our days there and only walked down to the beach twice. Great location too. Just an overall great place! We will definitely be back!

Just what I hoped for

The stay at this property was fantastic. You can wake up to the sounds and sights of the ocean waves just across the street. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I've previously lived in the area, so when selecting this property, I was already familiar with the location. If you're looking for a property that matches the photos, feels (and is) safe and just gives a pleasant atmosphere all around: this is perfect! And the host was communicative and wonderful to work with. 10/10

Love this property

I love the casual, comfortable upper level duplex. We shared the space with another couple and had such a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. Amy Davis goes over and beyond to provide the best accommodation for her guests.

A Great Getaway Spot

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable property. The place was spotless and everything we needed was provided by the owner. Great front porch with ocean view and comfortable seating. Even though it was across the street from the beach, the private path to the beach was a short easy walk. Highly recommend.

Fantastic upper level condo across the street from the beach with great views of the ocean over the dunes. Beautifully decorated house. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Great communication from Amy. Would totally recommend!

Such a cute place!

We had a wonderful time here. The location is great - walking distance from restaurants and bars and right across the street from the beach. The duplex is comfortable and well laid out and communicating with Amy was easy and FUN!

Lovely small property with luxury accents.

Spouse, small dog and I had five night stay across the road from the beach. As no house in front of us / the porch, we could see the ocean! Lovely nice touches like throws, liquid soap and a candle.

Wonderful place to stay

This property was great. Right across from the beach with a beautiful view. Great for young children. Amy was very accommodating lending us a high chair and playpen for our baby. She was very responsive and a delight. So glad we got to meet her and Blue. We will be staying here again.

Perfect beach getaway

Wonderful upstairs, dog friendly unit across from the beach. No house in front that would block the view. Super clean. Everything you’d need. Cue, fresh, well maintained. Minutes from Fernadino Beach restaurants, etc.

Great island location

I loved this property for the location to both downtown Fernanda Beach and the miles of beach which was only steps over a private access dune. It was an easy 2.5 miles to bike (which we did) or drive to Amelia Island Coffee, Nana’s bake shop, the book store, 4th street deli and shops and restaurants. Fort Clinch would also be a pleasant bike ride away but we drove twice to look at the fort, and a second time to a different access point to walk the beach. The house is parallel with the shore with the front covered in large windows and a covered deck the length of the house to watch stunning sunrises, waves all day long and maximum sunshine. My husband and I were there alone so had more than enough space. This property would work for two couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths or parents with children who could share the second bedroom bed or have room for a crib. We enjoyed the kitchen since we ate in about 40% of the time after picking up preordered groceries at Publix. We enjoyed the large TV in the living room for evening movies or an option on a rainy day. Thank you to owner Amy Davis for great communication long before the easy check in and out. The restful vibe of Amelia Island and this property was just what we were looking for a week to escape New England February.

Great winter vacation

The rental was very clean and had a wonderful view, especially at sunrise. It's an easy walk across the street to the beach, where we enjoyed collecting shells. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and we appreciated having the dishwasher and washer/dryer. The rental is close to several restaurants down the street and only a 7-minute drive to downtown Fernandina, where there are many shops, restaurants and activities. We would definitely recommend this place!

Neat ….clean…kitchen efficient….comfortable beds! All appliances available:good dishwasher, washer/dryer , microwave…. We would recommend for a family of four or two couples/four friends. Larger numbers would be too crowded…

Beautiful beach getaway

Location is everything

Perfect location - just across the street from a low-key and uncrowded beach with a private pathway over the dunes. Can view the ocean clearly from the balcony despite not being "on the beach". Plus this property is super clean, well stocked, and has good off-street parking. This is actually the second time we have stayed here for all of those reasons.

Perfect week at the perfect home

This was our first visit to Fernandina Beach but it won’t be our last. The beach is pristine — clean and not at all crowded. Having the private access walkway meant there was almost no one near us, which is exactly how we like it. Amy was the perfect host and we could tell she really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Her home had everything we needed. She even left a personal handwritten note for us, a full bag of ice, full bars of soap, and plenty of paper products. Don’t worry about bringing your own beach chairs. Hers are like new and very nice. We could have saved trunk space! The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after returning from the beach. And that balcony - perfect for napping, reading, making a phone call and definitely just watching the ocean. The couch and beds are also very comfortable, and the home was one of the cleanest I’ve ever rented. Absolutely a 5-star experience!!

I grew up traveling to Fernandina Beach as a child and fell in love, so naturally it was the beach sweet spot that we always gravitated to for vacation.
We raised our children spending the summers playing in the afternoon tide pools, searching for shark teeth, walking down the beach to play putt putt, and picking out books at the BookLoft downtown to complete summer reading requirements. We have made so many special memories on Amelia Island and we hope that your family and friends will too!

Our dream came true to own a slice of heaven when we made our first Fernandina Beach purchase at 240/ 244 South Fletcher Avenue. This property at 551 South Fletcher Avenue is our 3rd property and it is very special. It is situated across the street from the beach but boasts beautiful views of the ocean from the upstairs deck. Get comfy in the cozy deck chair with a good book or settle in for a good nap!
Our newest feature for this property is a beautiful swimming pool! Two waterfalls are a lovely backdrop spilling over the stone ledger wall.

We started construction on a swimming pool in January. We discovered after some research that there are not many homes with swimming pools on the beach rental market. This lot provided ample room for the pool and plenty of space to gather with friends and family. We allow up to 4 guests (including children) at all times.
