Nestled on a 5-acre organic vineyard, guests enjoy private access to the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom main floor of our restored 1950s Midcentury Modern (MCM) home with stunning views of surrounding vineyards and the breathtaking Okanagan and Skaha Lakes.

Our group had an awesome time staying at Tanya and Mark’s place at Modesta. The space was perfect for three couples and had everything we needed for an extended weekend away. We absolutely loved all the patio spaces, the views of the lake and vineyards, and the peaceful location on the bench within walking distance to many wineries. We would definitely return!

This accommodation was great. We stayed there with our family of 4 and it worked perfectly. Owners were very respectful and have a lovely winery next door. This was our first time in Naramata and would definitely come back!

The view was stunning. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were spotless. Several places outside to sit and relax depending on how much sun or shade you wanted. We had a wonderful stay. We just wished it was longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home and location in Naramata which provided a wine tasting experience. Home had everything we needed for our family's stay and location offers access to the KVR bike route, other wineries and attractions around Penticton. Can't wait to return!

Tanya and Mark were amazing hosts. Their home was amazing, the views were incredible and the wine tasting was excellent. There were at least six wineries within walking distance and Modesta was one of the best. The place was well equipped and as a vinyl junkie I really appreciated the vintage hi-fi. The house was a mid-century bungalow that they had decorated in mid-century style to match. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

We really enjoyed the view from this lovely house. We found the kitchen to be well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The owners live just downstairs in a suite below, so any problems could be quickly handled even though we had none during our stay. On our second day sitting outside, we were surprised by two large barking grey pointer dogs who also seemed equally surprised by us, but they settled down quickly. The Modesta winery next store is a very charming new winery offering delicious wines and a lovely spot to taste them. Looking forward to our next visit there!

We were 3 couples looking for a place to stay in the Naramata region to have a mini family reunion. Modesta exceeded our expectations. The home was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked including a wonderful variety of spices and condiments. We took advantage of the large clean BBQ for some of our meals. The beds were very comfortable in all three bedrooms. It was such a quiet area. Numerous outdoor seating areas overlooking the lake and the winery allowed us to enjoy and appreciate the area. Our hosts, Tanya and Mark, were welcoming, friendly, informative and attentive to details. The wine tasting was amazing and we learned so much about wine making. We were also invited to walk around the vineyard at our leisure. We will definitely be back for return visits. We highly recommend this accommodation for a group ( family or friends) wanting to spend time together while visiting the wonderful Naramata wine region in the Okanagan valley in British Columbia. Thank you Tanya and Mark for making our stay at Modesta a very pleasant and fun holiday!

This is a terrific property for a Naramata wine tour visit. Tanya and Nark are excellent hosts.The property is a renovated mid century home, stylishly decorated, with a well stocked kitchen and beautiful linens.The beds are very comfortable, the three level outside seating areas means you can always find sun or shade.The vineyard view from the sunny kitchen nook was great for three early risers.Modesta is located within easy walking distance of other wineries - so we didn’t need a designated driver and could enjoy wine tasting at each - but don’t miss their own tasting room and Mod Pods.Highly recommended.

Amazingly beautiful property!

This house is absolutely lovely on a gorgeous vineyard! Great amenities and tons of places throughout the house to relax and find some privacy even with a big group. Right in the middle of wine country and tons of walkable wineries within range. Highly recommend renting here, the property manager is awesome as well!

Overall really nice property. The view and grounds are beautiful, decor is cute and the kitchen has everything you need! We really enjoyed our coffee on the patio in the mornings. Only small downsides was is someone living in the basement and you could smell them cooking food, especially in the master bedroom which was a bit gross, and they had a dog who howled for a couple hours one night. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, and would come back

Mid Mod is Quite Lovely

We enjoyed a great weekend in this delightful little mid-century house. The owners have done a great job at keeping it timeless and we loved all the outdoor amenity spaces as well as the record player! Well stocked kitchen so we stayed in a bit more than normal.

Above and beyond

The pictures do not do the place justice. This was one of the nicest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful backyard and vineyard, large funky house, easy check in and check out process, clean, etc. I am very looking forward to coming back.

AMAZING PROPERTY

This property left me speechless the views and the location is utterly beautiful. There is alot of room with lots of sitting room and very very clean. Me and family will be trying to book this property again. The host was fast to respond and very helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
