"Villa De la Paz" with Wi-Fi and Outdoor Pool

In the south of the popular holiday destination Lanzarote, Villa de la Paz is located in a quiet residential area of Playa Blanca with private roads. The white holiday home has a living-dining room, a very well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Amenities also include Wi-Fi, fans, satellite TV and a high chair for children. Outside there is a private outdoor pool (21 m², approx. 1.4 m deep) which is lit at night and heated in winter. On the roofed, furnished terrace you can grill and enjoy your meals outside with a view of the small palm and cactus garden. The sun loungers and hammocks invite you to relax under the Spanish sun and forget the stress of everyday life. You will find the nearest supermarket in 850 m or a 10-minute walk. A larger selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés can be reached within 1.8 km and the nearest, beautiful sandy beach, Playa Flamingo, is 1.8 km away.

Great accommodation, everything that you need. Super helpflful host who respoded quickly to any questions and gave us loads of info on places to visit. Kids loved the pool which was heated just right.

Perfect Christmas Escape

We were very happy with the villa and the location was excellent for us. The area was quiet residential and the villa was very private. The garden /pool area was completely enclosed from view by neighbouring villas which permitted us to swim naked! The pool was heated and was checked once a week by a friendly maintenance man. We were there for four weeks and the villa was cleaned once a week with plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding. The villa is spacious for couples. The kitchen is very compact but is very well equipped. The sitting area is comfortable and there is a pleasant separate dining room. The bedrooms are fine though we would have preferred a double bed rather than two singles pushed together, but I can understand that the present arrangement perhaps makes the villa more suitable for some visitors. The interior had a traditional Spanish feel to it with Cesar Manrique artwork copies on the walls. The settees were comfortable though beginning to look slightly shabby in my opinion. There was plenty of wardrobe space and having a "spare room" meant we had lots of room for our stuff! And we brought too much! It was a lovely location for us because we enjoy walking every day. It is twenty minutes walk down to the HiperDino supermarket. We didn't bother hiring a car. There is small mini market shop ten minutes walk away which we used a couple of times. The beach and promenade are only 25 minutes walk away. We would certainly consider renting the villa again. Only slight niggles: it was advertised as having a DVD and satellite TV. The DVD was broken and we were unable to get any satellite tv programmes in English. Actually it wasn't much of a problem for us. We watched a bit of Spanish tv to improve our Spanish and we enjoyed reading more . So all in all I recommend Villa de la Paz as a peaceful escape from the UK winter.

absoluter Erholungswert, es gibt nichts zu kritisieren

Pros: netter Gasgeber, schnelle Antworten per What´s App, Haus sehr sauber Pool, klein, aber fein Gartenanlage toll, Palmengröße super, dadurch tolles Gartenbild Cons: es gibt NICHTS zu kritisieren, vieleicht ein paar Anregungen: - Grillvorplatz mit Fliesen gestalten - Grillrost etwas größer, damit es in die Fugen des Grills besser passt und nicht rauskippt - Grillrost für Kohlenauflage (besseres Anzündeverhalten) - um den Pool gartenseitig noch Fliesen, um dort die Liegen aufzustellen, dorthin fällt kein Schatten

Wonderful villa for a relaxing holiday.

Stayed here as a family at beginning of April. We all really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again if we ever returned to Playa Blanca. The villa is in the lovely Parque Del Rey estate which is very quiet and peaceful and only a 15 minute walk to the seafront or 5min scooter ride if you can find one. There is a small shop about 8min walk if you turn left when you leave Parque Del Rey but it only sells the basics, we used the supermarkets in the town. The villa had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage and all the beds were comfortable. The bedding is changed every week. The living room area has 2 big comfy sofas and although the TV may not have English language channels it is a modern smart Samsung set that you can use to screen mirror from a phone or iPad. Also the WiFi was fast and reliable. The kitchen could be considered small but it has everything you could need, dishwasher, washing machine etc. It also had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine as well as a percolator. Outside the front there is an off road parking space. There is no front door as such, you have to enter the villa via the side gate to get to the patio doors at the rear. The swimming pool is a good size and was lovely and warm, the shallow end is about 1.2m that slopes to about 1.7m at the deep end. The pool is cleaned every week. There is plenty of seating outside to enjoy and relax in the sun and on the other side of the pool there is a very pretty cactus garden. Playa Blanca is a lovely town and this villa is in a great location to make the most of it.

Great place, very private and in a quiet location. Pool warm and clean, as was the villa. A 20 minute walk into town...for us perfect.
