The Canal house is a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/2 Bathroom, On The Delaware and Raritan Canal state park tow path, only a few block walk to Main Street Lambertville. You can enjoy the front porch swing bench and watch the people and ducks on the canal or the private fenced in back yard with an out door dining table. you can also enjoy the view of the canal from a private second floor screened in porch. We have made this Canal Builder’s 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

What a charming, quaint rustic house. And they thought of everything… from coffee and creamers to every toiletrie you can think of. Even hair dryer, kids shampoo… you name it. Great communication.. great host !!! Will be back for sure!

Have stayed multiple times and during every season. This was our first winter stay, and while we missed the use of screened in porch, and back patio, the convenience of location, and serenity of canal path were appreciated. House was cozy and comfortable during the cold temperatures, and we had all the amenities we needed.

Perfect little spot next to the canal. Very peaceful and quiet. The location is a very quick walk to the main shops in town and easy walk to the New Hope side of the bridge. The kitchen and bathroom was well equipped. The couch was comfy. I would absolutely stay there again.

A great visit

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elliott’s home along the canal. It was clean, well-stocked, peaceful, and very comfortable. We have stayed at a few different spots in the area and this was our favorite. We would certainly come back again.

Charming house in a great location

An older and charming home with ample spacss to relax. Spotless kitchen and bathrroms. Beautiful towpath along the canal right out front brings you to town amenities easily.

Lovely townhouse on the canal towpath

Loved this property. It’s the perfect location with a beautiful short nature walk away from Lambertville shops and restaurants. This was our first time staying here and hopefully the first of many.

We rented this for a relative. They absolutely loved the peace and tranquility of this place. They enjoyed walking the towpath at night. Sipped coffee while on the porch overlooking the water, watching the ducks and geese. They also enjoyed the proximity to so many shops and restaurants.

Great Stay

Stayed to help celebrate with friends and family in New Hope. Very close to many great shops and it even snowed during our visit. House was very comfortable.

I’m not sure why the app wants me to review a winery, because we did not visit one. However, we certainly did enjoy this perfectly delightful, clean, comfortable and homey property on the towpath in Lambertville. Everything about the space is lovely, especially all of the beautiful pieces of art. We had a wonderful time hanging out in the back yard and going for walks. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about all the restaurants and fun things to do in the area. Excellent escape from the city without being in the middle of nowhere. We go to Lambertville often and this was absolutely perfect for gathering with my family who live in the area.
