Beautiful Modern Vacation Getaway

Property was wonderful, fully equipped with all we needed. Kitchen was built and supplied for cooking chef style meals. Outdoor summer kitchen was amazing and lap pool perfect for morning exercise. Thank you for the stay.

The house was beautiful. Everything you need is there. Make sure you read the fine print.

We wish we could have stayed forever. Very nice house. Didn’t expect to have to pay for electricity. It made us check every day to see how much we used.

Beautiful well appointed home! Pool is perfect. Pool table is fun ! 2 washers and 2 dryers - wonderful ! Quality construction. Outdoor kitchen wonderful!

Do not recomend this place.

We booked this house for my nephews 15 birthday. That night we had family over which ended up staying the night but they were living next day. Around 10 am the property manager came along with another persona making up a fake story about the house being sell that day Friday and that the owner wanted to do a final walk thru. What she really wanted was to see what we were doing and how the house was. Long story short since the family was over it was more than 8 people which is the max allowed, she didnt even let them go, they along with the owner which sup lives in Russia or some other country, they ended up kicking us all out and till this date 8/30/21 they have not refunded us the money for all 4 days we did not stayed. So over 2k$ and we are still waiting and no answer from them and VrBO is not responsible for the refund either. Moral of the story they would prob do the same to you so don’t even bother. ps: it does not look like the pictures either, its all filter.

Exactly what we hoped for

We came down as part of a nationally organized baseball tournament. The property was perfect for 2 15yr olds and 2 dads. Each had own room/bathroom and then shared the open spacious common area. Pool, spa and private outdoor showers (refreshing cold water) were great after long days in the heat/humidity. Pool table/ dart board added fun competition while outdoor grill /dining area provided nice platform to cook local surf and turf. Beds and bathrooms were spacious, well accommodated and comfortable. Secure garage kept cars cool and baseball gear safe. And the 2 full sized stacked W&Ds made nightly laundry easy. Great “clubhouse” feel. We felt like All Stars! Will stay again next year.

The Perfect Getaway!

This home was absolutely beautiful! Spacious, clean and provided such a relaxing atmosphere. The jacuzzi was my favorite! The owner & property managers are pleasant to communicate with before & during our stay. They have thought of everything you need to make your stay stress free. Adam the property manager was so nice! Lots of space

We had a great time staying at Villa Mahalo. The home was super clean, and there was a ton of space for everyone. The dart board was fun and the lanai and pool were perfect. It was also amazing not having to deal with twin beds or sharing bathrooms with couples. We do we wish they left more supplies as far as dishwasher tabs (we had 2) and trash bags etc. for us to use during the stay. Some extra blankets and towels would have been nice. Beyond that the house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It’s about 5 mins from grocery stores, perfect for grabbing food and supplies. They also charge extra for electricity each day which is a somewhat hidden fee. We only knew about it from another review. Ours totaled $38 and some change. They also stop by once to check on / clean the boat but felt slightly invasive as we were hanging out on the lanai. They come to the house to check you in, and note the electricity scale. You also have to schedule a check-out where they’ll come by, note the electricity and have you sign a form for the extra fees. Adam and Talisa were both very nice and accommodating during our interactions. Overall great stay and would come back

Fantastic Trip

Nice short (20 min) drive from Fort Myers airport. Two car garage that we utilized. Everything seemed really clean. This property was even better than the pictures - especially the pool area. We had 8 adults and 3 small children. The community spaces were excellent, the kitchen was spacious as were the outdoor dining and grill area. The pool and hot tub were great - nice to be screened in to avoid bugs and having to clean out the pool all the time. There are four bedrooms of varying sizes, each with their own bath and closet. There's an additional half bath near the front of the house as well as a toilet right off the pool area. There's also a (very) small office right off the entry way. We didn't end up renting a boat, but did see dolphins in the canal. Super quiet neighborhood at the end of the canal. Sonos speaker system throughout was great to use all week. All the dishes, pots and pans, etc. that we could have needed. There are pool floaties available as well as drying racks and a couple pack and plays. Super responsive owner and staff, but didn't really need them while we were there. Groceries, and restaurants within short drive. Also had groceries and food delivered a few times, which worked great. We will be back, hopefully!

The house is gorgeous and has everything you need: Well stocked kitchen, gorgeous pool and lanai, awesome sound system throughout the house and the pool table and darts were a nice bonus too!

The home is clean, functional, and equipped with more than enough! The owner and property manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The pool and hot tub were fully enjoyed. The kitchen and open air to the back were fabulous. Five star spot!

Beware of this "connected property"

Beautiful location and home. Wasted two days of boating screwing around with a check engine light. During check in process we were asked for the full daily rate up front for the boat rental, which I paid in cash, and another sum equal to the daily rate for a deposit as cash or check. We were not prepared to give the property manager this additional amount in cash, so we gave him a copy of our American Express card to run for incidentals. That evening, our American Express card was used to purchase 8 sets of Apple Air pods through Walmart.com along with sundry other items, all for pickup in Georgia. American Express stopped these transactions. I emailed the property owner through VBRO and was contacted back by the property managers who are obviously handling all aspects of the home. I was never contacted as requested by the property owner to discuss these issues. Later that day, I was online doing some banking. That evening, (after midnight) our personal bank account was hacked and thankfully locked. All of this activity ran through the router, which also handles the security system, the door locks, the cameras that see when you come and go, even the Sonos system. So basically, if you want to use the audio system, you have to log on to the router, which exposes everything to the property owner, managers, and whoever else has access. This was an incredibly unsettling experience and made us feel like prisoners in this home, having to take our electronics and valuables like our jewelry and cash with us every time we left the property. There are no safes at this property. Cameras watch every entry and exit including inside the garage. If you rent this home prepare to use a VPN for every connected device and feel like you are being watched at all times by people you don't know. An incredibly unsettling experience!

Beautiful home

House is beautiful, only thing is make sure you pay attention to property manager because you could get charged for things you had no idea. We got charged for extra electricity used which we have never been charged never in none of the home’s we have stayed in.

amazing stay

The House is better than on the pictures. Adam is really responsive Bedrooms are confortable and big, TV in each bedrooms The pool table, and the darts was a pleasure for the kids. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. And most of all, in this period, the house was super clean !! It was a great stay and I would recommand to anyone

This place is awesome

Brand new facility. It was new clean and well managed we would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Bummer they double booked the boat so we could not use it. Not a problem it was my fault for waiting too long. Took in Sanibel and Captiva easy by car. Airport was super convenient. Thanks Pat for sharing your place! My family loved our time together.

The green house :)

This was one of the best properties we have rented. Adam and Talisa were so attentive and made sure we were able to completely enjoy the house and all it’s amenities. From the pool, to the hot tub, to the pool table, to the dart board, we had so much fun, we rarely left the house:) I would 100 percent recommend this property for your getaway and we will definitely be back!

The Ideal Vacation House

Villa Mahalo is a wonderful property. If you're looking in Cape Coral, rent this house! Everything is very well maintained, so for all intents, the property is brand new. The beautiful great room has a large window wall overlooking the water which is nice if you're from the north where we rarely see the sun this time of year. There's a very well-equipped kitchen, dining room and TV area. It also has a very nice pool table and a dart board, so there something for everybody, There are two master BRs and two other BRs, each with their own bath. All have comfortable beds and beautifully decorated bathrooms,. The outside space is just as nice with a 50' pool and center hot tub; everything on remote control. All around the house, the switches are labeled so there's no guessing what controls what... and the entire place is immaculately clean. The owner and property manager were very responsive and answered all our questions, and the check-in and check-out procedure was easy. We loved it... you will too!

Beautiful Gem in Cape Coral

Our family absolutely loved our vacation in this home. We have been renting vacation homes since 2009 and this was by far the best! So much space and the home was equipped with everything. Seven showers including the outside showers!! Felt so good to take a warm shower at night under the stars. The pool and spa were absolutely fabulous. Whenever we wanted the pool warmer, we just turned up the spa with the airblowers and it quickly heated the pool. Plus the pool heater is on a timer so it keeps it warm through the night. The grill was great and was easy to clean. We totally appreciate the owner wanting the aluminum foil replaced on the grates and drip pans. How else will you keep nice equipment that’s used by multiple families? It was a no brainer for us and we were happy to do it. The cost of electricity use was nominal and was refreshing since we did not have a flat rate as we have experienced with renting other homes. The owner and management company representatives were easily accessible and extremely accommodating. We made a stop at the Publix to pick up food, paper towels, tissue, and laundry detergent. Did not have a need for anything else. We will be back!!
