We had a great time and the process of booking and communication with Jaren was smooth the entire time. The house is setup great and having brought kids, the separation of the bedrooms was a bonus we wouldn't have even thought about. The outdoor elements were great, we spent a lot of time outside. The proximity to Carlsbad Village was perfect, quick drive or easy bike ride (kids did it!), and there were options to bike or walk to within a few blocks of the house too. We recommend this home for all guests!

Gorgeous house!

We stayed here with 2 families with kids—it is such a beautiful house! The beds were super comfy and everything was super clean. We loved hanging out in the back yard and hot tub and it was just a short walk to a yummy diner around the corner. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great house

Great location. House was well stocked, beds were comfortable, it was nice to have the hot tub and ping pong table and other amenities on the days we didn’t have plans. Amazing hosts and location was walkable to Carlsbad village. The train nearby was loud at times but we had ear plugs and slept fine!

Christmas vacation

We came to visit family and loved the house! Carlsbad is such a cute little town with great shopping and food options. We enjoyed biking around Oceanside too. The renters were great about communicating through their message and email. Very prompt responses to any questions we had.

Fantastic.

Loved this place. House was extremely clean, well-decorated and stocked with essentials. Fun activities for kiddos and adults. Appreciated all the bikes and beach gear. Jaren was a gracious host, responsive and helpful. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. Beaches that are swimmable for kids require driving.

What a great house

We stayed at Jaren's place for 8 days and had a great time. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need for cooking at the house. We had 2 teenagers along with 2 sets of grandparents and the house easily accommodated everyone. The hot tub was awesome along with all the games in the backyard. My daughters loved to cozy up in the egg chairs on the back porch. Jaren was great about responding to our questions and gave us some tips around the area as well. We would definitely stay in this house again. Thanks Jaren!

An Oceanside Treasure!

Jared made the whole process easy and pleasant. Great communication, house was spotless and nicely decorated, many extras provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; 7 adults and 2 children. The loft w/ bathroom was perfect for the young family of four, as the 2 kids (under 6) shared the futon. I can't think of any way it could have been better!

Great house

We had a great time here. House is spacious with plenty of bedrooms. Quite a walk to the beach so we drove there with the kids. Bikes were a great addition as we would bike to beach to watch sunsets. No complaints. Hot tub is huge. Backyard has tons of room for kids to play.

Relaxing spot for the beach

The house is beautiful and it was a great place to come back and relax after a day at the beach. Communication with Jaren was great. The loft was so much fun for our 13 year old who got to create her own little teen hangout space. Absolutely no complaints and I would recommend to anyone!
