Your Ideal Family Getaway Awaits – Pet-Friendly and Short walk to the Beach!

Spacious two bedroom + studio room - 3 bathroom beach cottage sleeps 6 in comfort and is just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This ideal location is in the heart of prestigious Santa Rosa Beach. Calypso Pointe is a gated community with community pool and beautiful native vegetation. It is shared with only 34 houses. This newly remodeled house has a covered front porch, heart of pine flooring, crown molding and granite counter tops. Two of the bathrooms were recently remodeled with travertine tile.

The bedrooms have queen size beds. The living room includes a Sectional sofa, recliner and a 60 inch flat screen TV. This house has a full dining room that seats 6. The studio room has a daybed with trundle.

There are over 20 miles of bike/walking trails just steps from the house, and runs the entire length of Scenic 30A. The shops, restaurants, and seasonal events of Gulf Place Resort are just a quarter mile away.

* $100.00 cleaning fee
* Plus 12% Taxes apply.
* $ 75.00 pet fee
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposit which will be held as a Security Deposit is due within 5 days of making reservation. 1/2 rental rate due 6 months prior to rental date, full rental amount + Cleaning, taxes, and pet fee if applicable is due 90 days prior to occupancy.
Cancellations must be made 90 days prior to arrival for refund of deposit $ less the administration fee of $ 25.00.. If you cancel within 90 days of your arrival you will loose your rental payments if we are not able to fill the dates. If we are able to rent your dates you will receive a full deposit less a $25.00 administration fee. If you book within 90 days of your arrival date, you will have two weeks from the time you make the reservation to cancel with a full refund of your deposit less the administration fee. If you cancel after final payment has been made and if we are able to re-rent the property, your rental fees and deposit will be refunded less the administration fee of $25.00.

REFUND/SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
Refunds will not be given for late arrrivals or early departures. if hurricanes or other extreme weather conditions occur the County Emergency Management Offices of North West Florida in conjunctin with the National Weather Service may issue a mandatory evacuation notice. Only at that time, will refunds be pro-rated from the time of your departure. If no evacuatin notice is issued by either of these government agencies and you choose to leave before the end of your reservatin or to cancel because of the potential threatening weather, neither refund nor compenstaion will be made.

Great location. Clean house. Quite and friendly neighborhood. Dog friendly. Quick walk to the beach. We brought our own beach stuff, but they had Definitely enjoyed it being the quieter part of 30A, but close enough to Charles was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our second time staying here. We enjoy the walkability of the area. The beach is minutes away and there are nearby restaurants and bars that are only a short walk away. The house is well maintained and the neighborhood is quiet. I look forward to staying there again.

Great stay

We enjoyed our 10-day stay. Home was clean, comfortable, and in good working order. Well stocked kitchen, quiet location, lovely neighborhood. Beach access is a short walk or bike ride. This part of the beach was not crowded and was family oriented. Also, this area has wonderful bike trails. Definitely rent bikes if you don’t have your own (Fun Pug Bike Rentals is the best!). There are great nearby restaurants and ice cream shops to explore. Blue Mabel, The Perfect Pig, and Blue Mountain Creamery are within biking range and were our favorites.

Amazing Family Getaway!

Beautiful gated neighborhood. Private home with backyard. Extremely clean house with beautiful kitchen and living room with plenty of space for family meal preparation and relaxing together. The neighborhood pool is 2 doors down where we swam daily. The beach is a safe and close 5 minute walk. Has excellent amenities in the kitchen, a much needed washer and dryer and a wonderfully functioning ice maker. Our group included 2 young children (4 and 7), my husband and I, grandma and our two small dogs. Excellent layout if traveling with dogs! Thank you!

Convenient location close to the beach BUT… We found 3 live cockroaches in one of the pots one night while trying to cook some pasta for dinner. All the pans and pots were full of cockroach’s poop. This is unacceptable. The beds are very uncomfortable.

Great location

The house was in a great location and clean. Plenty of utensils, pots and pans for cooking your own meals. Just a heads up, there were no seasonings, salt, pepper or any kind of cooking oil. We’ve been renting houses for years and this was a first. A little cooking spray and some salt and pepper would’ve been great for eggs the first morning. Also, there wasn’t any laundry detergent and we had to buy our own. Not enough to take away a star, but just simple things that would help renters. It was only a short five minute walk to the beach. Also close to a few restaurants and shops. I recommend the Local Catch, which was a short drive to the east. There’s a few state parks around that are a great place to check out as well. We rented a boat from Aloha Pontoon boat rentals just inside the Destin inlet and they were great! We would definitely rent the house again and Charlie was quick to respond with questions.

Walk to beach from quiet, upscale neighborhood.

The house could use a little TLC. Showing significant wear and tear, but nothing that affects functionality. The house was not cleaned when we arrived in the evening. Apparently there was a communication breakdown with the housekeeper. I was able to contact the owner for that and we had to find something to do for a few hours. I understand that mistakes happen. Would have been nice to been offered a little more of an apology as it felt more like a "deal with it" response. I also had a follow-up question for which I was never given the courtesy of a reply (again, I would have thought that a little extra attention would be more the modus operandi at that point).

Great stay.

We stayed at this property over fall break. It was super cute, in a very quiet neighborhood, and a relatively easy and very safe walk to the beach (a walk is never super easy with 3 kids and all their stuff). Took us about 5 min if we were just strolling over. Maybe 8-10 if lugging all of our stuff. Conveniently located to all of the restaurants but far enough away from any busyness. The house was cozy and right around the corner from the pool, which was nice. There was plenty of seating for our family of 5. If I could make any suggestion, the master bedroom bed could use an update sometime soon, but overall this was a great stay in a great house. We would go back!

Very nice house and location. Easy walk to the beach, friendly neighbors, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Had one small issue, and Charlie was quickly able to resolve it. Why they chose this property

We have vacationed in the area for over 15 years. We think that Santa Rosa Beach is one of the most beautiful beach locations on the east coast. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the look of the community not to mention only walking distance to the beach.

What makes this property unique

We love the neighborhood. Their are very good restaurants with all price ranges close to our home. The shopping in Destin is only 4-6 miles away. The Santa Rosa Gulf Course is a semi private - open to the public course across the street from the neighborhood. The beach is only a short walk from our home and is never crowded.
