Great Property

Wonderful property, everything working well and clean, had a great time with family there. The separate suite downstairs was particularly nice to have for a large group.

Perfect Vacation House

This house has everything you need for a Carribbean vacation. It’s in a lovely neighborhood in what is probably the top gated community on the island. We very much enjoyed our stay

We loved the house and location! Our group of 5 couples had plenty of space to gather in common areas (large dining table), thoroughly enjoyed the pool and were delighted with the well appointed kitchen - everything we needed to cook for a large group. Shoys Beach was lovely and an easy walk from the house. Hosts reached out with lots of info in advance. It was challenging to find the house at first, however - good to have the photo of the entrance to recognize it. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent property for a large group

The house is beautiful and well supplied with beach gear, towels, appliances, and supplies. The location is quiet, but close enough to town to be convenient. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend.

Well equipped

Loved our stay at this beautiful home. The beach chair backpack style were super easy to take to beach. The home is well equipped with just about everything you need for a great vacation. Our family of eight relaxed and truly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous house with 5 beds and attached baths, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor propane grill, lots of beach towels and quality beach chairs, plenty of toys for tots, one pack'n play, great location. Beautiful swimming pool though it did require cleaning AFTER we arrived, costing us a day and 3/4 of use...our only cleanliness complaint. Responsive off-site manager David, though communication only through VRBO portal was clumsy...previously we've ALWAYS had direct phone and/or whatsapp contact with owners worldwide over many years. Would stay again for sure.

Family retreat

Incredible property well stocked with everything needed to enjoy and relax. The kitchen had nice pots and pans with sharp knives. David was very responsive with all our needs. We honestly have nothing bad to say.

Best vacation ever

My grandsons called this the best vacation ever! The house was beautiful yet comfortable and spacious enough for all of us to be together without being on top of each other. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes, etc. Pool and deck area was very convenient with children, dining room table fit the whole family. Master suite is gorgeous. Lovely location and view. Would stay there again.

Beautiful home, but no heated pool, pool pump broken, and no hot tub as advertised. Also no beach towels on arrival.

Thank you for the review although it is inaccurate. !st it is not advertised as a heated pool, but the pump is certainly not broken, and the owners of this unit have an abundance of towels, including numerous beach towels. We have never had a hot tub in this unit, no idea why VRBO added that as an amenity but it has been deleted.

Beautiful property

I went with my five brothers and sisters and four spouses. We had a wonderful time. The house was great. One problem was the first step into the pool was so high and no railing made it hard to impossible for some of us to get in and out of the pool.

Big family trip

This home was a great size for our big family to stay in. The bathrooms are very large! We grew up in Shoys and it was wonderful to “return home” to the area. Love that we could walk to the beach, walk the neighborhood, and enjoy the entertaining space without being on top of each other. My only suggestion would be a welcome packet with information regarding trash/recycling, checkout process, as well as maybe info on nearest pharmacy & grocery for those new to the island.

Amazing!

We had 6 in our group…our adult children and friends. Everyone had their own room and bathroom making this home ideal! This property was was well kept and nicely stocked with all the essentials of home. From plenty of beach towels to kitchenware this house had it all! The only issue we had was the door code that came with our check in instructions was not the correct code…but the host responded quickly and helped us access the house. It was an awesome vacation and we would stay here again!!

St Croix VRBO

House and pool were very nice. A couple of issues including mouse poop in the closet and a slow draining master shower. Even with these two difficulties, the house was new, spacious and easy to enjoy. The neighborhood is lovely but completely fenced in. A car is a necessity. Beautiful ocean views with an easy half mile walk to a wonderful secluded beach. We recommend this house for families and friends.

Beautiful St. Croix

This is a beautiful home in a gated community. The views are awesome and the house is lovely. Plenty of room for 3 couples to spread out. Could have held more people. You do need a car as it is somewhat remote. Beautiful secluded beach is only a 15 minute walk but everything else is a drive. Be sure to request bottled water and a few food basics before arrival. And if you think you might use the outdoor grill, be sure to ask that it is thoroughly cleaned.Communication with management was easy and prompt. All questions were addressed very quickly. Would definitely rent this property again

Great Location and Beautiful Property

This house was amazing and accommodated our group of 12 perfectly. The host was very helpful and attentive. It did not have much in the way of spices or sunscreen, but we left some for the next renters in hopes it would benefit someone. It was close to Shoys beach which was very rough while we were there. The Buccaneer was also in the neighborhood and they allowed us to use their chairs at mermaid Beach since we were staying in the Shoys neighborhood. Duggans reef, The Landing, and Ama were huge restaurant hits. The fire dancers and moko jumbie show was fantastic at the Palms but the food was buffet style and not good. It was worth it for the show. Beautiful house, location, pool, and beaches with a great host. We highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

The house was well appointed and maintained. Everything was very clean. We had a bit of trouble finding the house initially, but eventually found it. Some posts have said that you can walk down to the resort below in the marina, but that walkway is locked off with a gate. The house could use some books on St Croix. The pool could use hand rails to get in, given the steps are really steep. Great coffee set up - an neurogenic machines, a regular coffee maker, a grinder and even a milk foamer! We enjoyed a drink at the Buccaneer Lounge and a snorkeling trip with Llewelyn on a catamaran. Duggans Reef and Great Salt Pond were wonderful dinners. Shoy beach is nice and quiet but it was too windy to snorkel there.

St. Paddy’s Day stay 2023

This property was perfect for a group of couples traveling without our children. Ample space for group gatherings but also space to have alone time! The only negative about this property was the master bathroom shower was VERY slow to drain. We also generated a large volume of garbage as it seemed there was no recycling program! However, these were really negligible things and would not stop us from renting this property again. We loved everything we did on the island especially the St.Patrick’s Day Parade... An experience like none we’ve had before. We loved the secluded beach and had no problem navigating around the island with the assistance of google maps. A rental car is a must though as there are limited transportation options.

Lovely property in Shoys.

Property lived up to our expectations from the listing. House is well appointed and was clean. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are, dare I sat it - comfortable! The house came well stocked with essential spices for cooking. Capable cookware and cutlery and appliances made cooking easy. The view off the pool deck is great and you can even see St Thomas on clear days. The hosts are responsive and seemed generally interested in our enjoyment of the property. A couple small matters. The drain in the master shower does not drain well. Also, mini split air conditioner in the master doesn’t perform as well as it should and that after someone came out to work on it. The house could benefit from a second garbage dumpster. But, these are all minor things and did little to interrupt our stay or our enjoyment of the island.

Destination Wedding Trip

We were visiting St. Croix for a destination wedding to be held at the Buccaneer. We rented this house with another family for the wedding and it was amazing. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for all of us. The pictures and description are exactly what we found. The bedrooms are spacious with access to bathrooms. The kitchen is large with plenty of space for all of us in the dining room. The pool was delightful and we used it often as it was hot the weekend we were there and they provided plenty of towels for the pool. I also loved that they provided beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a cooler bag, and a beach wagon that you can use when visiting any of the numerous beaches on the island. We visited Shoys beach which is very close to the house and made good use of the beach chairs. The hosts were very responsive when we asked questions both leading up to the rental and during our stay. They provided great information on local grocery stores and restaurants in the area. We felt safe in the gated community which always had a guard manning the gate 24/7. It is really close to the Buccaneer which we used for beach days as well as attending the wedding. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

When we arrived on June 11th we were amazed at how beautiful the home was. We then noticed lots of dust on cabinets and under couches , the trash had been there and smelled really bad, stuff left inside of pool from maintenance guys and broken pieces of ceramic left near pool. I immediately contacted the host to let him know and showed pics so they wouldn’t think we broke anything. .He told me the maintenance guys would be there in tbe morning to clean out pool . When they arrived we asked if f they could help with the hot water and the guy said he couldn’t fix it.Next day I sent the host a message letting him know the master bedroom had no hot water and hardly any water pressure to take a shower. The kitchen had no hot water either.. We also let him know the apartment area downstairs was leaking a little water and we thought it was coming from the washing machine. On Sunday night i sent the host another email saying that it would be nice if he got these items fixed for the next guest that stays there and that I wanted to not do a review and bring these issues to him. He said please dont do a bad review on owner he would fix first thing Monday morning. We were leaving Tues there was no need to send anyone. The host said for all the trouble he would give us back 25%. Two days i reached out to see if he contacted VRBo and he said why would i do that. He said maintenance guys went after we left and didnt find anything wrong . This should have been done while we were there.

Thank you for the review, although it's inaccurate. The home owners were there just prior to your arrival and sent pictures after they left. The place was immaculate. When we were messaged that there were problems at the pool, we responded that we would send our maintenance man the next day. We were told the guests were fine and not to worry about it. Then you messaged that the washer was leaking, there was no hot water in the primary bath, and the primary bedroom AC was not working. You stated "we don't want to have to give this place a bad review". When we sent our contractors to check those problems, you refused to even allow him in the house to look. After you checked out, we sent our cleaners and contractor back to the house. They could not replicate a single issue. The hot water worked fine, the AC cooled perfectly, and the cleaners did laundry all day long, without a single leak. We did mention the 25% discount when we thought those issues were valid, but after failing to replicate a single issue, the contractor not being allowed in the house to verify and fix the alleged problems, and communication with VRBO, we decided to not issue the discount. We didn't believe it was warranted and VRBO agreed.

Fabulous home in Upscale neighborhood near the best beaches

Loved this house! My husband & I spent a lovely week in this beautiful home. It was even nicer than the pictures. You can walk to the beach at the bottom of the hill or take a short drive to a small parking area & you are right on Shoys beach (great snorking) which we had all to ourselves this time of year. The house looks newly decorated & the owners took obvious care to provide all the things that make for a nice stay. Plenty of white linens, turkish cotton beach towels, pool toys, beach chairs, plenty of kitchen ware, every kitchen appliance we could possibly need. Everything was clean & ready when we arrived. AC throughout the house was also a big plus for us. Many other homes on the island dont seem to have this, but it is a luxury to crawl into clean white sheets in a deliciously cool room after a long hot day of playing in the sun & sand.
