We were there for Thanksgiving with nearby family so we were not able to take advantage of the proximity to the beach, however the home was great and we look forward to coming again during beach weather! (and the fact that Scratch Bakery is across the street is an added bonus!)The host was very responsive and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The lodging had comfortable beds & mattresses (a huge plus), a beautiful crafted bar, nice Maine decor, and extra toiletry supplies. The temperature was perfectly cool with the window units. The owners worked hard to create a welcoming experience for guests. It was a quick walk to the beach and restaurants (we liked Bistro Leluco). Scratch Baking Co is across the street. For those that like a really long walk, we walked from the lodging to Portland using the pedestrian section of the Casco Bay Bridge. The people we met in South Portland at the beach and the Scratch Baking line were very friendly.

Great place!

We visited for a few days to decompress, explore the area, and take our new dog for his first getaway. The house was perfect for all 3 of us and we really enjoyed our stay! Everything was spotless and the area was great to walk our dog around. It is close to shops and the beach as well. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we had some great memories - hope to visit again soon!
