Gathering spaces galore! Whether you prefer to gather indoors or out, this 3br/2ba home is ideal for families, couples, or groups. The party barn is upscale glamour with a private hot tub, outdoor TV, kitchenette, and outdoor fireplace. Located along the creek you might just see the local deer come through as well. The backyard is endless and you can enjoy a wonderful meal under the trees with your favorite bottle of wine! Managed by Heavenly Hosts



The Space:

Cottage on Mistletoe is a darling gingerbread type style home that is full of Fredericksburg charm and character. Located in the historical district and true to it's German Heritage, you will more than enjoy the party barn located right of the back of the kitchen. Such a clean and cute place! Beds were super comfy! Loved the hot tub. The location was great too. The host was very responsive and timely at sending all the details. Our only complaint we had was that the hot water did not last long, therefore we had cold showers. Seems like that should be an easy fix though. Overall would definitely stay again!

Girls Getaway

Five of us stayed at the property and everything was great. The location was perfect and we enjoyed sitting in the back yard in the evening. We had several deer come through one evening and 2 of them spent the night under the trees! A couple of suggestions - you might want to have someone look at the back door - it doesn't latch closed very easily and blows open. Also, you might want to put a broom and dustpan somewhere in the house. we broke a glass and had to use the outdoor fireplace broom and a piece of paper to get all the tiny pieces up. Thanks!

Regarding the hot tub, it is adjustable via the control panel; however, during the summer months, external temperatures can sometimes keep the water warmer than the set temperature. As for the kitchen amenities, we do not advertise a dishwasher in our listing, and we apologize for any confusion regarding linens. We have looked into the air conditioning system, and it is functioning properly. If guests experience any cooling issues during their stay, we encourage them to reach out to us immediately so we can address any concerns promptly. Thank you again for your feedback.

Family Girls trip to Fredricksburg

Very nice and quiet great location. Walking distance from downtown Mainstreet. Beds were so comfty. Description said it could sleep 7 NO sofa bed and only 3 beds. So not sure where the 7th person would of slept. Good thing we only had 6 with our group. Television was only in the master bedroom and living area. Could not open the Masterbedroom patio doors to walk outside in the back. Back bedroom was very hot. No house games were available like in the picture showed us were in the cabinet. So I did not take any. Sink in the kitchen was dirty when we arrived and so was the stove.

We’d like to address a few concerns: The property is listed to accommodate 6 guests, and we don’t advertise sleeping 7, so we’re unsure where this information might have been seen. Similarly, board games are also not included in our listing or photos. We’ve had the AC inspected and confirmed it’s working properly, but we’ll continue to monitor for any issues. As for the kitchen sink and stove, we sincerely apologize—they should have been spotless for your arrival. We’ve shared this feedback with our housekeeping team to prevent this from happening in the future.
