Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Little York Lake

Quiet lake getaway and only 15 minutes to SUNY Cortland and 30 min to Syracuse University with easy access to I81! Song Mountain is 10 minutes up the road and Greek Peak is only 25 minutes away! The cottage sleeps 4 with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway or need a place to rest while visiting the area, Lily Pad offers it all!

The space is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation for a small family. There are a variety of books and games to pass the time on a rainy day as well as a 75" smart TV where you can access Netflix as well as other apps.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans and utensils as well as an extensive spice rack. There is also an instant pot, toaster, microwave, coffee maker air fryer and food processor. There is an island with two stools and a large picture window overlooking the lake.

There is a king bed in the bedroom with a large dresser and closet. The living room couch folds out into a queen bed.

Tie up your boat to the private dock. Enjoy BBQ'ing lakeside on the gas grill and take in the evening sunsets on the large, shaded deck! Explore the lake with the two kayaks provided. Unwind in front of the lakeside fire pit. In the winter, cozy up in front of the gas fireplace.

Although a lake front home is thought of as a summer destination, this cottage is the perfect getaway year-round. Enjoy the fall foliage, apple orchards, local wine tours, great hiking or downhill skiing. Just minutes from SUNY Cortland, this the perfect spot for parents weekend or orientation or move-in weekend!

Lily Pad is a great little get away from the City. Very peaceful and quiet, right on Little York Lake. The property is well maintained and clean. Vicki (host) communicates well and is responsive to your needs.Will definitely try to stay here again if in the area.

The house was very clean, had everything we needed, great location for our purpose. The host is very responsive and checked in to ensure everything was good after we arrived. Communication prior to check in was very clear and host even provided some suggestions for the area that were quite helpful during our stay. I would definitely recommend to others!

Upon our arrival, we found the cabin to be very clean and equipped with everything needed for a 4 day stay. The view from the deck was as advertised.........beautiful, peaceful and a great place to "chill" We enjoyed our stay and did not experience any issues or disappointments! Lots of interesting locales to visit within easy driving distance -wineries, Skaneateles, golf, restaurants, etc.

Enjoyed our four nights at the cottage. The home was incredibly clean, very well appointed with lots of towels, tissues, coffee filters - basically all those things you need for a smooth stay. Would recommend and return.

Inside of the property was clean yet clearly the recent renovations were just lipstick. The bathroom tile is all that falling out, the new linoleum floors seemed to have a bit of a wave to them. Every appliance was on an extension cord. Surrounding homes left a lot to be desired. This little cottage is actually tucked behind a defunct hotel and closed boarded up gas station. While the house itself was tidy- it was hard to look past the first impression.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I wish we would have had communication during your time so I could address your concerns. The cottage was built in 1935 as a lakeside getaway. Over the years, things have been updated but kept it's cottage feel. The vinyl flooring is laid over 90 yr old floor boards and will not be straight and level like a new house. The appliances are in their proper places and plugged in appropriately. I am unsure how you were able to see "all the appliances plugged in by extension cords" unless you moved them away from walls to inspect. The neighborhood is a mix of local, permanent residents and second homes and all of them are nice, respectful people who would help with anything you would need. While I cannot control how their properties are kept, I can control mine. And as you mentioned, it is kept clean and tidy. As the numerous reviews before you have mentioned, the house is exactly as described, clean and quaint, a peaceful getaway on the lake.

This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. This is a quaint and cozy cottage in a great location on the lake! The Exchange Restaurant has amazing food and really close by the cottage. I will definitely be back to stay at this beautiful cottage on the lake!

Lovely Lake Cottage

Even with rainy weather, the lake was beautiful and the cottage was spotless. Close to Homer and Cortland for a fun filled baseball weekend. Noticed several other baseball families staying in the area. Thank you for the memories.

Long Weekend in Cortland Area

Great on water property. We stayed for a baseball tournament at the Lumberyard. Were able to relax on the lake between games. Enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. Property was as described and truly had everything we needed. Would stay again.

College Drop-Off

Fantastic place to stay and enjoy peace and quiet on the lake before dropping off our son at Suny Cortland. Great amenities and near town of Homer with good restaurants and ice cream! Definitely will be back!
