Detta charmiga strandhem ligger i pittoreska Turtle Beach på ett lugnt hörnparti bara 50 yds. från stranden och grannskapspoolen. Den lilla cul de sac av viktorianska hem, vita staket staket och cykelvägar går precis bredvid stranden och är bekvämt för restauranger på The Sanctuary och Tomassos på Turtle Point Golf Club. Marketplace, tennisbanor, Night Heron Park / Nature Center ligger en kort cykeltur bort. Den enda riktiga 'trafiken' att tala om är cykelrytare, vilket gör den särskilt tilltalande för småbarnsfamiljer.
Den stora verandan erbjuder havbris och ljudet av vågor som kraschar. Det finns gott om bekväma sittplatser, ett bord för att äta eller arbeta och en hängmatta för avkoppling. Det är soligt på morgonen och skuggigt på eftermiddagen.
Dubbla dörrar öppnas mot vardagsrummet, möblerat med nya Pottery Barn-möbler, kabel / DVD-TV och en öppen spis för svala nätter. Det finns böcker, spel och pussel att underhålla. På baksidan av huset är en lugn skärmad veranda med härlig utsikt över det "gröna", massor av bekväma sittplatser och takfläktar håller dig sval året runt.
Duschområdet utomhus innehåller ett sortiment av strandstolar och Boogy-brädor för din njutning. Strandhanddukar tillhandahålls också.
Den privata grannskapspoolen ligger en 2 minuters promenad.
Det 5-stjärniga Sanctuary Hotel, bara ett stenkast bort, erbjuder många fina restauranger och spa-tjänster.
Turtle Point golfbana ligger uppför gatan och tennisbanorna, konferenscenter och marknadsplats är runt hörnet. Night Heron Park ligger bara en kort cykeltur bort.

Our Happy Place

Kiawah has been our family's 'happy place' for over 20 years and Atlantic Beach Court is our new favorite sanctuary on the island. This home is so convenient to the beach with a beachwalk starting with a few feet of the residence. The court itself is very private with little traffic. The home is perfect for spreading out and enjoying your own space - be it inside or on one of the two porches. The highlight of our time at home was discovering a newly born fawn nestled in the back yard one morning, and enjoying the frequent casual meandering of deer in the yard. We look forward to returning again.

Great Kiawah house

We stayed in this lovely Kiawah house for a week with our 2 adult kids. We hadn't stayed in this part of Kiawah before, but the location was great -- right across from a beach access. The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated, the kitchen is well-stocked, and there are plenty of beach chairs, sand toys, and a couple of boogie boards. We also liked having a nice front porch and a back screen porch. Our week turned out to be the week of Tropical Storm Debby, so 3 of our 6 days had heavy rain and winds. Tish Miller, the owner, was very communicative and helpful (including before we arrived). She let us know what needed to be secured (the rocking chairs on the front porch), reassured us that they'd never lost power in the 12 years they've owned the house, and shared helpful updates she was receiving from the town of Kiawah. During the storm, we had a lovely house in which we could play games, watch the Olympics, read, etc. And fortunately we also had 3 days to enjoy the house and location as an actual beach house.

Charming, perfectly located vacation rental

Couldn’t ask for more than this perfectly located, private, bright and airy home. The house was clean and equipped with all the basics you need to enjoy an elongated stay. Hosts were extremely communicative. We will certainly look to rent here again.

Family vacation

We were here for our annual family KI beach trip. House is comfortably appointed. Great location. We had ages 2 to 57. Everyone had a lovely stay. This home is convenient to the beach and very clean. Thanks for a great week!

Perfect little get away

Great house, excellent location

We loved the house and its proximity to the beach. The kids loved riding their bikes around the neighborhood, and the front porch was ideal for all of us to lounge. It’s a great house. We would definitely come back.

Perfect low country home in Kiawah

Wonderful experience. Good and timely communication with owner. The house is beyond adorable, especially loved sitting on the screened in porch in the evening. The proximity to beach could not be better, a charming 2 minute stroll through a path lined with oaks, until you reach the spectacular water vista. Great beach for walking, especially at sunset. Husband loved golfing at Turtle Point and Osprey, and the 45 minute drive into Charleston was easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location!!

We loved the house. It was very clean and well-equipped with kitchen supplies. The beach towels, chairs, and umbrella were much appreciated. The screened in patio became our favorite place to relax, read, play cards, etc. We had one minor issue, which is possible at any rental, but it was quickly remedied by Tish. The location between the beach and the pool was very convenient, and both were so close. We have been to Kiawah many times, and I think this was the closest we have ever stayed to the beach. It was very nice, and we would definitely try to stay again on a return visit!

June vacation

We had a great week in this lovely home. It was very clean and well stocked. It was a cool week so we spent many hours on the beautiful front porch where we could hear the ocean. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas or set up your own. There was also a pool just for the neighborhood. A special treat was watching deer right on the beach or walking through the backyard! We would definitely stay in this home again.

perfect location

If you want easy access to the beach, stay here. That was our highest priority and this achieved that. The porches (both front and back) were ideal. I would sit out on those at night with my infant and rock him to sleep with the sound of the ocean in the background. The layout of the house worked nicely for us being open and essentially having two master suites on either side of the house. The bunk room worked well for the kids - which my oldest loved. We also loved the quiet neighborhood. Nice and close to The Nest and park, just a short bike ride away.

We have been property owners for 20 years and visitors to Kiawah for many more. Rarely do you find such a beautiful spacious beach where you can spread out & not overhear others conversation, find Sand Dollars & Starfish, and ride your bike for miles. One of us can often be heard saying 'It doesn't get any better than this ' ! We love to ride the waves on Boogie Boards, ( There is NO undertow ) bike ride on trails and the beach, shop at Freshfields Village and get ice cream at the Sanctuary !

We chose Kiawah Island because of it’s natural beauty, friendly people, spacious beach, endless bike paths, opportunity for tennis and golf and proximity to Historic Charleston.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We purchased this beautiful property on July 1, 2013. We love to sit in the Rockers or in the Hammock on the porch -reading, chatting, playing scrabble or just listening to the Ocean. The Village at Turtle Beach was the only neighborhood we considered after 12 years in Tennis Club. We wanted more space, but were not willing to give up all the conveniences of East Beach . We were spoiled, having had the beach, pool, The Sanctuary, Golf course, tennis courts and bike paths all in our backyard. We can't wait to spend more time at Turtle Beach.!
