About Tish Miller & Cleve Skinker
We have been property owners for 13 years and visitors to Kiawah for many more. Rarely do you find such a beautiful spacious beach where you can spread out,not get trampled on and ride your bike . One of us can often be heard saying 'It doesn't get any better than this ' ! We love to ride the waves on Boogie Boards ,( There is NO undertow ) bike ride on trails and the beach, shop at Freshfields Village and get ice cream at the Sanctuary !
Tish Miller & Cleve Skinker purchased this House in 2013
Why Tish Miller & Cleve Skinker chose East Beach
We chose Kiawah Island because of it’s natural beauty, friendly people, spacious beach, endless bike paths, opportunity for tennis and golf and proximity to Historic Charleston. Check out the Kiawahresort website for more info. and beautiful pics. of Kiawah !
What makes this House unique
We purchased this beautiful property on July 1,2013. We love to sit in the Rockers or in the Hammock on the porch -reading, chatting, playing scrabble or just listening to the Ocean. The Village at Turtle Beach was the only neighborhood we considered after 12 years in Tennis Club. We wanted more space, but were not willing to give up all the conveniences of East Beach . We were spoiled, having had the beach, pool, The Sanctuary, Golf course, tennis courts and bike paths all in our backyard. We can't wait to spend more time at Turtle Beach.!

Beautiful, clean, very close beach access and conveniently located
We enjoyed our spring break at this beautiful home. It was the perfect size for 3 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen is well stocked and beds were all comfortable. The house is extremely close to the beach access and we loved riding our bikes on the trails. Tish was the perfect hostess. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Great Kiawah location
The charming house is located a few minutes walk to the beach and also close to the Sanctuary Hotel, East beach market and cafe, Turtle point golf club and Restaurant and a community pool. The 3 bedrooms each have their own full bathroom. The room with 2 sets of bunk beds has a pullout trundle bed too. The living room, dinning room and kitchen are open and very spacious. The best part is the wide front porch with a hammock and the large screened in porch off the kitchen, master bedroom and dinning room in the back overlooking a grassy community gabezbo and courtyard.
Exceptional location, home
We loved staying at this property on Kiawah Island over New Years. The home is as described - great location (short walk to the beach and quick car or bike trip to the Sanctuary, Night Heron Park, and mini-market). The house had everything we needed - bath amenities, fully stocked kitchen supplies to make meals at home, games/puzzles for chilly evenings, plenty of towels (both bath and beach!), good wifi access, and more! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Our favorite house yet !
We had a wonderful stay in this cozy house. Proximity to the beach was awesome. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen and 2 large porches in which to games were highlights for our family . Owner was a pleasure to work with - it was clear she wanted us to enjoy our stay .
Beautiful House in the perfect spot
We couldn't have asked for a better stay. I've vacationed in Kiawah for 20 years, and this was the best house we've rented yet. We will definitely stay here again on future trips. Best of all is location...just cross the street and you're at the beach! The house is open, cozy & modern. Beds comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. We loved having our breakfast on the front porch, reading in the hammock and enjoyed dinners in the back screened in porch as well. Can't wait to come back!
Could not ask for a better stay!
This was my first time to Kiawah Island, my husband has been there many times, but not in quite some time. He said our house was the best location he had even stayed in. Just a quick walk to the beach from the house and close to all the bike paths! The house itself was in perfect condition - we had no complaints. We loved the front porch, we ate breakfast out there everyday. Its a nice quite street too. We had more than enough room - we can't wait to go back with our family in the future!
