Our beautiful mountain home is being opened to you and your family, and is ideal for a 2 family vacation.

The home is luxuriously furnished as a second home and was custom built within the last 10-12 years. You and your family will fall in love with the spectacular mountain view on our extensive back porch decking. Well above the lights, you are sure to enjoy the awesome cool night skies and incredible sunsets across the mountains.

The view from the back of the house faces Mount Mitchell and the Blue Ridge Mountain Range, and all the rooms in the house have large windows to capture this incredible view. The deck extends the full length of the house and boasts 180 degrees of long-range mountain views.

With our busy schedules we decided to open the home to you and your friends, so that others could enjoy the spectacular views that we've shared of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

My family and I are always looking for opportunities to stay in a unique spot with incredible views. The view at this property is tough to put into words. You are truly above cloud layers and get to watch them pass by and spill over nearby mountain tops. We absolutely loved staying here. There are lots of outdoor activities to engage in within 30-60 minutes of the home. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Property was unbelievable! Perfect for our family of 10. Three floors so each family had a floor to themselves…. Perfect! Stunning views! LOTS of family time! Scrabble was so much fun! Loved all the outside seating on the wrap around porch. Up above the clouds and a feeling you are in Heaven…appropriately named “Carolina Heaven”. Thank you so much!

Carolina's Heaven was an absolute dream! Can't believe this place was real. Hayes, our host was so thoughtful, great communicator and went above and beyond when our rental vehicle had issues climbing the mountain to the cabin. Will definitely be back!! Thank you

We as a family stayed in this BEAUTIFUL cabin for Thanksgiving! The cabin was VERY spacious and had everything you’d ever need for your stay! The kitchen was VERY WELL STOCKED……more so than any other cabin I’ve ever stayed! And the VIEWS……WOW!!!!! ……words couldn’t even begin to describe the INCREDIBLE views!!!! This cabin has it all and so many special touches that make you feel right at home!! The owners are quick to respond with any questions and very accommodating!!!!

Easy stay

Hayes property was great! Instructions were easy to follow to get there, house is very secluded. We all made it up the driveway no problem in classic BMWs. Beds were comfy and we had plenty to do at the house.

Incredible Weekend Vacation

Mr. Hyman's property was beautiful and comfortable. My friends and I had a great time taking in the view and lounging at the house, and the location made getting to Lake Lure and Asheville a breeze. Mr. Hyman was communicative and extremely helpful in the lead up to our visit and when we had a problem arise during check-in. Definitely a great place to stay in the high country for large groups!

Amazing views

Eight of us stayed at this property for a long weekend of golf. We had plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate our needs. The views are absolutely amazing. Be ready for the drive up the hill as it can be rough in places but well worth it once you reach the property. Would stay there again without hesitation. Owner was great to work with.

Mountain Top

My Husband rented this cabin to celebrate my 50th birthday with 6 of my closest friends. The drive to the top of the mountain was quite the adventure and when we got to the top the view just took my breath away. The cabin was perfect. Each couple had their own bedroom and own bathroom plus there were two extra bathrooms. The kitchen was better equipped than my own at home. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and we were all talking about coming back again.

I cant tell you how awesome this place is. I went there with 5 friends to celebrate my birthday. We stopped in chimney rock on the way there and on the way home. The rest of the time was spent at this paradise on the mountain top. BTW- we only left to get supplies at Ingles. It had everything you could ask for. I highly recommend Carolina Heaven. We would love to come back. Thank you, Hayes!

I have come here with a few of my buddies on mountain golf trips many times, and it's always a great time. If you think the view was good during the winter, you ought to see it in the spring, summer and fall!!

Beautiful Cabin in the Mountains

This was a fantastic experience! The cabin is so homey and BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the trees and mountains. You can see the stars at night. The owners thought of everything and communicated so well throughout! They were generous with kitchen supplies, their grill, spices, towels, quilts, seating, etc. The three levels worked out perfectly for us. There was so much space for all 12 of us to be together on both the second and bottom floor. The pool table was a nice touch for those who wanted to play and talk while others watched tv. Would stay here again (this was the 2nd stay for a handful of my friends) and we'd highly recommend it!!

Carolina Heaven is the perfect name

Our group included me, my wife and 16 yr old son, my wife’s parents, her sister and her husband and two 17 yr old sons. We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. This gorgeous cabin sits atop Young’s Mountain and had us continuously saying “I can’t get over that view” and just enjoying it the whole time. The cabin was plenty big enough for our group of nine and had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner, plus a pool table, plenty of games and more than enough seating. All the furniture was very comfortable and there are fireplaces on both the main and lower floors. The backside of the cabin is all windows and has a huge wraparound deck to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. Our family has had this same Thanksgiving get together for the past several years now and this cabin is by far our favorite!

Wonderful mountain hideaway/getaway!

This mountaintop cabin is a treasure, once you get to it: clean, well thought out, lots of entertainment options, and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Getting to it is an adventure, given that the gravel road up is narrow and steep with multiple hairpin switchbacks. Anticipating that, we tried to bring all the groceries and supplies we thought we'd need for our three night stay so we wouldn't have to leave once we got to the top. Still, we ended up making a run to Ingles when we discovered we were missing some key ingredients. Hayes is a generous and accommodating host, quick to respond to queries. His spice cabinet was well-stocked and available for use, there was a good selection of cookery and crockery, common area seating was plentiful, and the beds were comfortable and warm on cold, stormy nights. We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Heaven and look forward to returning when the spirits move us back in that direction.

Fantastic Mountain Views

The Carolina Heaven cabin was beyond perfect. The views were amazing and the cabin was just beautiful. The bedrooms were comfy. Loved that we did not have to bring any eating utensils/pots/pans. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need other than food/drinks of course. The local grocery store "Ingles" is close by and I was pleasantly surprised how big the store was. For a small town store the prices were not high at all. The drive up was a little nerve racking. Definitely need a front wheel drive vehicle to make it up. Overall everyone in my family enjoyed it and we plan on going back next year.

Great cabin with amazing views

This is a pretty nice cabin in the mountains, but dang, that view is incredible. We spent quite a bit of unplanned time just sitting out on the back deck taking in the gorgeous mountain views and the incredible night sky. The road up is pretty steep in a spot or two and would definitely recommend AWD/4WD. We are already looking to come back next year.

I grew up vacationing in the NC mountains. I built this home to share my love of the mountains and nature with my children. From the coast to the mountains, and everything in between, NC has so much to offer. We built this house on the best lot I could find at the top of a mountain, and the primary purpose was to create the most incredible views of the mountains for the best porch-sitting ever. And then we furnished it as a true second home with the finest mountain decor. We hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of the mountains as much as we do in our lovely home!

The quaint mountain shops offer unique shopping experiences, and we love the awesome mountain golf courses nearby. This home is perched at the top of a mountain in a secluded location with incredible long range views, but yet it offers all the charming mountain decor and amenities required by our family. This location allows us to have a secluded luxurious home on the top of a mountain, yet all within a 30 minute drive from the golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, lake activities and much more. It's the perfect location.
