The secluded cabin has vaulted ceilings and an all-wood interior that will make you feel right at home. The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of granite counter space for you to cook up a storm. There is also a private hot tub, private washer/dryer, and central air-conditioning for your convenience. The gas fireplace will keep you cozy and warm throughout the winter, and the private gas grill will make for some fun warm-weather barbecues in the summer months. You can enjoy the beautiful outdoors from the comfy rocking chairs on the screened deck.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful extended weekend at Lil Ponds. Very secluded yet close enough to Blue Ridge and local wineries/vineyards. The kitchen was well stocked to cook and grill, and the hot tub was nice for relaxing and watching the turtles in the pond. We plan to stay at Lil Ponds again hopefully this winter.

Solid Choice

Cabin was very clean and homey, although quite remote.You won't believe the last turn you're told to take (It can't be this road!) Everything worked well. Unlike previous reviews, we had no problem with internet. Hot tub was great.Gas fireplace could have heated the whole house! If you don't require a view or close proximity to town, you'll be very happy here.

Nice getaway in a great location.

The property was well maintained, in a great location for visiting the mountains. We really enjoyed staying here overall. The hot tub worked great and was easy to use. We saw a deer and an armadillo right outside the window and the cabin itself was great. We were mostly unable to use the internet or satellite during our stay here which wasn't a deal breaker, but it was inconvenient at times. If you want a really nice isolated cabin close to nature with a hot tub in a great location in north georgia, then you will love this place, but if you really can't live without internet, it may not be for you.

Pest control

The check-in process was very easy. Amazing looking cabin. The signs/arrow leading to the house might need solar spotlights. The main issue we had was the pest control. There were black ants walking all around the house, on the couch as we sat and in the bed as we lay at night. The outdoor back porch has spider webs everywhere.

Good, but needs some effort.

Cabin and property are nice. Hot and Cold water lines are switched on washing machine - which is important when it comes to washing certain clothing. Ponds are dead, no fish. There were not enough towels for 4 people, considering bathing and using hot tub.The towel warming racks would’ve been nice to use had we had dry towels at some point. Hodge podge of cooking utensils/pots/pans. Too few dishwasher detergent tabs provided - especially over a cooking holiday week. Internet is basically non-existent. Furniture isn’t comfortable - when you sit on the couch you slide right off. TV is too high in the main room - could use brackets to tilt it downward. These are things that would make a difference between being a good property versus a great property.

No Water/No Communication

We got there in the dark and all seemed well untill we tried to run some water and nothing. We called all of the numbers they had listed and nobody ever answered. VRBO got involved and got someone who said they would send someone out to fix it but they never ca.e. No water at all that night. The nexg day they didn't come and we called and called. Finally someone said that they would send someone out at noon. Unacceptable. We finally irritated them enough that ghey got a guy out at 10. Apparently the place had been left unchecked on so long that a power outage had flipped the well kff. In the daylight we saw all the outdoor furniture was stewn everywhere, even down in the pond. Borken wood everywhere, It looks ragged outside. There are houses overlooking ghe property ruining all that seculsion they advertise. I will never rent a hoouse owned by Vacasa again. They said they would credit my account 100 dol but I have yet to see it weeks later. Absolutley the worst rental experience we have ever had.

The home is beautiful inside and very well stocked. The only issue I discovered is you are pretty isolated from the main road. I did not have good cell service so it was difficult for working remote. I would recommend it for those who want to go completely without their cell phone. Also the road to the home is not paved. It is a single entry road so be on the lookout for other vehicles; pull your car off to the right or left.
