We only stayed one night but this is a beautiful property and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely book again when we are in the area.
Communication was wonderful, had an A/C unit go out and she communicated amazingly and got us a new one installed that same night, even with being out of town. It was great weekend get away and within walking distances of town. Lots of space for the kids to be able to play inside.
The house was so charming and my family absolutely loved staying here. I was so shocked at how large the house was. Pictures doesn’t do it justice. It was very clean and we slept amazing. Definitely recommend anyone staying here!!
Our family spent the weekend here while exploring Turkey Run State Park. The house was a beautiful 100 year old home. We were all very comfortable and everyone had their own space. Communication with the owner was open and the check in process was easy. We’ll definitely stay again!
It is a very nice house. Easy walk to square downtown that has a lot of cute little shops. House was comfortable. Not very clean floors but well supplied kitchen!

Margie, I’m sorry you felt the floors were not clean. We take great pride in our place and restored the wood floors ourselves just last year. I wish you’d have mentioned this to me during your stay as we’d have sent someone over for an additional clean at a time you were away as to not bother you.
This home nicely provides space for about 6 people very comfortably (although my husband and I enjoyed it as a getaway for the two of us). It’s an absolutely charming hundred year old home, updated for modern comfort. The area is beautiful to explore (state parks and covered bridges).
A few things the owner could do (but didn’t take away from the enjoyment of our stay): see if the sink in the full bathroom could drain better, add some rugs and wall decor to add warmth and coziness.
Overall this was a great place to stay!
Nice old house with a few flaws. Air conditioning upstairs work but does not make all the rooms cold enough. We found mouse droppings in some of the cabnits and on the kitchen table

Goodness, I wish you’d have reached out to us directly about these problems during your stay so that we could have resolved them at the time. Had we have known, we’d have done everything we could to fix these things on the spot. If we don’t know there are problems, we can’t work to resolve them.
This is a beautiful house with lots of character. We had no issues with the property and the owner was extremely nice. The only things to note are that the house lacks central AC, there is one AC to cool the entire first floor and 2 out of 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor have AC units, the 3rd has no cooling. If you don't enjoy being fairly warm during your stay, then I would pay attention to the weather outside and plan accordingly. AC units are old.
We really enjoyed our stay. Adorable house. Convenient location. But on a super busy (and bright) street. We never cooked anything in the kitchen. But overall I felt like maybe the house sat vacant a while before we checked in? Everything had dust on it. That’s really my only negative comment. The beds were comfortable. The check-in process was great, and we would recommend. My kids loved the tiny sink. And this where the basement was haunted? If you stay in the future, please tell Glenda we said hello ;) Hiking at Turkey foot was amazing.
Thanks for having us!
We had a great experience! The town is adorable. The hosts are super friendly. Check in was great and smooth. Property was very clean. Lots of fun local shops and eateries within walking
