Small town home away from home

Welcome to your home away from home. The Martin house is a perfect getaway for small town festivities. The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed, the upstairs bedrooms have a king and 2 twin beds. The sofa also pulls out to make a full bed. The kitchen has all of the essentials including a double wall oven, gas stove, and microwave. There is a weber gas grill on the back patio. The garage has a pool table, tv, and comfy seating. With 4 acres of land and a fire pit you will have plenty of space to spend time outdoors. The home includes a dining room with a table to fit the whole family as well as a screened in porch. There are bicycles that you are welcome to use to ride around town. The home is newly renovated in neutral colors and most furniture and beds are new.

Beautiful old house perfect for a girls weekend! After spending a day in Rockville shopping and getting lunch at The Ranch, we enjoyed the cozy living room with plenty of seating for a movie night! I really appreciated the well stocked Kitchen since we had several meals there at the house! It was a nice extra touch to have locally handcrafted pottery mugs and bowls to use, along with other local art decor around the house to appreciate! Thank you for all of the thought and care that has been put in to hosting here!

The kitchen had every cooking thing we needed with a cool fan. The living room TV was HUGE (in my opinion) and the fact that all the bedrooms had tvs too was neat, even though most of us didn't use them. The extra chairs for the dining room table were necessary and greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Beautiful quaint little getaway

This home was all the listing said and more. Our host was very communicative and super helpful. There wasn’t anything we wished we’d not forgotten to bring. If we needed it, it was there. I’d stay here again without question.

Quiet and Spacious

Our family enjoyed staying in this house for our annual family vacation. Everyone had enough space and we loved the screened in porch and yard. It is in a quiet location but still close enough to walk to town. We cannot wait to be back next year!

Family visit to Turkey Run

We appreciated the thoughtfulness shown towards house guests. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our two children and their spouses, along with two grandsons.The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were well supplied with great towels and toiletries. Everyone said their beds were comfortable.The pool table was a big hit for everyone. After hiking at Turkey Run, it was great to come home to a cool retreat. Lovely setting with the large yard, screened in porch, birdfeeders with visitors.

Great house!

Stayed here with 5 other ladies. House was set up wonderful! Kitchen was great, and nice big table for meals and games. Enjoyed Turkey Run and downtown Rockville.

Cute and cozy hose

This was a great house for a girl's weekend trip. The house was very clean and well maintained, the binder of collected information of places and things to do in the area was very useful. Although we didn't have time to utilize the pool table in the garage, it was a very nice entertainment area. The only thing that would of made it better was floor length mirrors in the bedrooms or bathrooms, with 6 females this was something that would of been nice to have. We would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

One of our favorite properties

This property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Beds and bedding were comfortable. We had so much fun on the bikes, playing basketball, pool, and hiking close by. Communication with the host was prompt. Check in and check out was easy.

Spring break getaway

This was a wonderful large home for our family (My husband and I, our kids and 2 grands). We all had our own space and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and everything needed for cooking. We hiked both Shades and Turkey Run State Parks.

Christmas Vacation

We needed a place to gather our kids and grandkids for Christmas. This was the a great solution for us!What a wonderful home!This has a large yard to run in and a long driveway for the kids to ride bikes and play basketball. We enjoyed the large dining room where we all sat for several big dinners. And after the young ones went to bed we gathered around the game room to play pool and board games. Highly recommended place to stay with friends or family.

Love the Spaces

This is an older property with a few quirks, charming and very clean. Beds were quite comfortable. Situated on a highway but the lot itself is wooded. Late October can bring a variety of weather, so we were happy with the spacious living and dining areas plus choices of outdoor spaces -- my favorite was the covered, screened-in porch. We found the location convenient to amenities (including the Visitor Center) and it was a lovely drive to Turkey Run.

This lovely property is on the edge of Rockville so it has easy access to town but seems more in the country. It is 5 acres of trees and rolling grass. We also like to provide a personal touch to the home and grounds.
