Family friendly lake front getaway on Lake Livingston! Fishing! We love pets!

A newly renovated, 1600 sf family friendly lakefront home on a quiet inlet of Lake Livingston covered in a forest of soaring pine trees. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with additional bunkhouse style sleeping for 10 (with an additional pullout couch). A double decker dock features ample seating to enjoy beautiful views from the entire property and cast your poles to catch dinner. Grill out for dinner on one of the expansive decks or the 12 foot picnic table nestled under the pine trees. This home is the perfect getaway for 2 families or 3 couples. It is stocked with life jackets, water floats, kayaks, SUPs, fishing gear, board games, children’s toys and books, 2 smart TVs, and baby items (pack & play, high chair, baby gates, and sound machine). We hope you feel at home staying at ours.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please clean and cover grill.
Remove all food, empty kitchen, and bathroom trashes, bring trash to outdoor receptacle
Please replace lifejackets, kayaks, and anything else you used back to its original location.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No bachelor/bachelorette parties or weddings. No illegal drugs. No smoking inside of the home. Smoking inside will incur a $500 dollar penalty fee.
Please clean up after your dog, both inside and outside of the house. Waste can be disposed of in the outdoor trash can. Please use a smaller bag.
Please respect quiet hours between 10pm-7am.

Slice of heaven

Great and nicely secluded and safe place that we stayed in, had the whole area to ourselves. Our teen boys enjoyed having their own space downstairs. Ruthie was super prompt to respond to our queries and a delight to recommend. We enjoyed the extra toys of paddleboard and canoes that come with the stay. Brookshire Brothers is nearby in Coldspring for supplies. Highly recommend as a family getaway stay.

We had a baseball tournament in Coldsprings and needed a house to relax in between and after games. This house was perfect!! Loved the kids area downstairs so you didn’t hear all the running around above you. Multiple games provided, updated kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and couches! We would absolutely stay again!

Celebration of Life

We had a wonderful trip for our grandmothers celebration of life. The house was perfect for our family. The house was clean and very spacious. The lake was a little low but it was nice to get out on the boat. Perfect for fishing on the dock and bringing your own boat to tie up was easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants easy access to the lake.

Overall great stay. Close to family that live in the area.

Property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Dock was as big as it looks in the pictures. A few things I would look at fixing... the paddle boards do not have their fins. The description of the house states that there is a hot tub. We could not find the hot tub. However, did not bother to ask the owner where the hot tub was. Overall a great stay and close to our family.

We want to share this property because it has been the perfect place for our family to make sweet memories. It is beautifully nestled among tall pine trees making you feel like you've escaped out of Texas. We hope that you enjoy our home as if it was your own.

What makes this property unique

Our lakehouse is fully stocked and equipped for families making it such an easy get away for people with young children. Swimming and fishing on the dock during the day and playing games or enjoying a fire in the firepit at night.
