Villa Dracena is a traditional Istrian stone house with a nice pool, outdoor kitchen and a large green area, terrace for great vacation. For those who want a quiet and relaxing vacation, far from the city, hectic and noisy.
In the small town of Barići, where the villa is located, there are numerous beautiful meadows, grain fields and forests. The area is known for its famous truffles, wine (Teran and Malvasia) and many other delicacies.
Villa Dracena is located in the heart of Istria, in the most beautiful part of the largest Croatian peninsula. It is 12 km (7.5 miles) from the sea (Poreč) and nearby is small Istrian town Visnjan (3 km ~ 1.8 miles) as well as 3 km from the highway exit (the Istrian Y) Kopar-Pula.
The Višnjan observatory is very close to the village of Barici. The observatory has a 407 mm mirror telescope that was used to discover more than a hundred asteroids. In this part of Istria it is possible to enjoy the beautiful, clean and quiet surroundings as well as the exquisite Istrian food and drinks in the many taverns and restaurants.
The Villa Dracena is a fully air-conditioned stone villa built in traditional style and exudes the typical Mediterranean charm with its green shutters.
A beautiful green garden with a pool with counter-current system and an inviting covered terrace with lounge furniture make the property perfect. The villa also has a rustic outdoor kitchen with grill and covered dining area where you can prepare your favorite dishes and enjoy a cool glass of wine from the surrounding vineyards.
A special feature is the second separate entrance of the house to the upper floor. This allows guests enough privacy and makes the villa the ideal accommodation for a relaxing family holiday.
On the ground floor with its spacious terrace you have your space right by the pool. A cozy living room with dining area and open fireplace await guests and invite you to linger. A large flat screen and WiFi offer entertainment and variety for everyone.
A friendly bedroom and a guest toilet with shower are available on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are three more beautiful bright bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and the other a double bed and a single bed. Two bathrooms with shower and corner bath complete the house.
