Villa Real è un piccolo villaggio a 10 minuti da casa nostra dove abbiamo un supermercato e un mercato degli agricoltori molto economico per prodotti, frutta e verdura. Consigliamo vivamente di acquistare lì frutta e verdura e sostenere la comunità locale.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Marbella. We were there with our family, ages 15 - 85. The house had plenty of room and was very clean. We went to the Beach Club daily and enjoyed access to all of the beaches in the area. The concierge and housekeeping teams were very helpful.

We booked this house for our annual family vacation which included an 18 month old up to an 89 year old, 11 of us in total. We asked ahead of time if they had a crib/pack n' play and a kitchen booster seat for the baby and everything was there when we arrived! Our concierge Mary waited until we arrived at 7:00pm to show us around the house and give us needed details.She booked all of our excursions for us so we could just relax and not spend time researching. She made the vacation so much easier for us and we couldn't be more appreciative. We also LOVED our sweet house mom Victoria. She made us breakfast, guacamole, cleaned, etc. Whatever we wanted, she was happy to make. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans; everything you need. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers. Toilet paper was supplied, but only a roll per bathroom at a time. When the house mom was there she would restock as needed, but the items are in a locked closet so if you run out while she isn't there, you might need your own supplies. Just make sure she gets some out while there. Same with paper towels,trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent. Water pressure can be low. No flushing TP, but again, the house mom will empty the garbage. The pool was lovely. We saw and heard the howler monkeys in the backyard. There were two iguanas that visited daily and one armadillo that wandered through. We had a remarkable vacation and have now have great memories of CR.

Lovely home in lovely Costa Rica

We came to this beautiful home for my son's 40th birthday. It looks just as advertised and was wonderfully comfortable for our family of 11. While it was a bit bumpy with water issues in the beginning, our host and concierge immediately took care of it for us and gave us a goodwill refund for the time it was out. There were monkeys in the backyard and on our walks! There were iguanas everywhere! The children were in awe. We loved taking the golf carts back and forth to the club, taking walks to the beach, and swimming in the pool. One of the highlights of our trip was having Chef Luis Dinarte and his team cook for us on three of our nights there. Not only was the food amazing, one of the team held my daughter's baby so she could eat. The housemom, Veronica, held her baby while she packed. The Costa Ricans we met were so kind and wonderful. Thank you, Diana and Concierge and to all we met who were so welcoming to us.

Perfect place for our daughter’s wedding

We rented for 1 week for our daughter’s wedding. We had our best friends and adult children stay with us. The house was perfect and the location was within walking distance to beach and wedding venue. The pool was delightful. The very best part of our experience was Veronica who is the house mom. She made breakfast each morning and cleaned up.she went above and beyond the day of the wedding. Would stay again! Thank you so very much Diana and LPeter!

Perfect for us

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for our family - there was lots of space to be together inside and out. The pool got lots of use and the mature trees gave us much needed shade throughout the day. The concierge service helped us book a great chef (chef Luis), horseback riding & fishing. We also appreciated the “house mom”. She was lovely and helped make our stay extra special.

A nice house with some issues

Large house, comfortable social areas, two large masters with ensuites. Other bedrooms somewhat awkwardly configured but workable. Pool is excellent (better than the pictures). BBQ did not function properly- thought it was us but apparently it was a known problem and the private chef we hired for an evening had had problems with it before; hence, our not inexpensive catered "bbq meal" was prepared in the oven with negative impact on the quality and experience. Irritating. Stove is old, and the stovetop does not function properly - heat goes up and down on its own. Toaster on last legs. Hot water in the showers could be intermittent. Using toilet paper in toilets is discouraged (yes, there is a sign in each bathroom) allegedly due to "typical to CR" pipe issues beyond the house itself. Net net, this is a nice house which is an upscale rental but not a luxury rental. Hacienda Pinilla is very safe but more isolated than it appears on a map. Roads in the vicinity are in very poor shape. So you are unlikely to be heading beyond at night. People we dealt with were nice but orientation beyond the house per se could be more formal and informative. Within Pinilla, the Beach Club is nice for an afternoon, albeit pricey. CR itself is surprisingly expensive compared to the US, let alone other Latin American countries. JW Marriott provides Pinilla residents/renters a 15% discount at its restaurants, which are reasonable in the context, something we found out on our own.

Adventure 55

For my birthday-Adventure 55 Costa Rica was the ideal place for me. This trip had been in the making for 9 months. The photos of the home were eye catching so the home was booked. But the photos did not do the home justice. Walking in the home-it was grand & breathtaking! It accommodated the 8 guests with no problem. The Pacific Ocean is literally less than a 5 minute walk. Brenda with concierge service was an amazing guest relation representative and the private chef, Luis prepared an amazing dinner. The overall experience is unforgettable.

A Family Celebration To Remember

Our family decided it would be great to go to a place we hadn't been before to celebrate my 65th birthday. We chose Costa Rica and we found the perfect house. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary features. We especially loved hanging out in the pool while it rained. We went in early June and it did not rain much, mostly in the middle of the night, which was perfect for sleeping. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was very open and easy to work with, the bathrooms were very clean and the yard was well-maintained (which the frequently-visiting monkeys also loved). The most important reason we loved this house so much was the incredibly warm service that came along with it. From the owner, Diana to the wonderfully helpful concierge staff - led by Brenda and Mari - to our "house mom", Veronica, who became part of our family during our stay. For many reasons, we thank God for these three, as they were really responsible for much of the success of our vacation. We highly recommend the Estuary Tour, getting a private catamaran (if your group is large enough - we had 8) and the private chef (a treat for the birthday dinner). All of this was arranged by Brenda. The ability to go to the amazing Beach Club was also such a treat. It is close, the staff is great, the pool is wonderful, the restaurant is delicious and the beach offers great relaxation and sunsets. All in all a wonderful experience. I highly recommend renting this home!

Home Base Beach Vacation

We came to Costa Rica for our son’s wedding. The house is the perfect size for a group of 12+ family and friends. The outdoor seating and pool were a nice benefit after a day in the sun at the beach. Close proximity to the beach club, golf, and several local beach spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home for a family vacation

Staying a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo was great. The home fit all 8 of us comfortably and having a pool for the kids and patio to spend time on was wonderful. Veronica, our house mom, was awesome as well and we would highly recommend having her help with breakfast and house stuff for bit, so nice!

Definitely recommended! Plenty of room for everyone. Great landscaping and backyard pool. Easy walk to a private beach, and easy golf cart drive to the Hacienda Panilla Beach Club and the JW Marriott. “House Mom” Veronica was awesome and cooked us some great Costa Rican breakfasts :-)

Amazing

We booked this property a year in advance and I couldn’t be happier that we did! Omar called me a few days before check in and went over everything with me. It was a group of 13 of us, including a 6,3, and 1 year old. Omar greeted us at the house when we arrived and took his time to go over everything. He even located a pack and play. Everything was so clean. The neighborhood was unbelievably safe. We enjoyed all that Hacienda Panilla had to offer- including the beach club! We had the pleasure of seeing howler monkeys every morning and some afternoons right in the backyard. We were on the fence about the golf cart but ended up deciding we needed it and rented it while we were there. Definitely a fun little ride around the neighborhood. Omar and the concierge team helped us book a sunset catamaran cruise and also suggested many places to go out to eat. The team answered any questions we had immediately. For most of the group, this was their first time in Costa Rica. Casa Marbella was so impressive that we have plans to make it a yearly trip. Don’t wait to book this amazing house.

J'ai été déçu de ce que j'ai vécu. Quand je suis arrivé, le ménage n'avait pas été effectué de manière adéquate. Les salle de bains des deux suites n'avaient pas été nettoyées, elles étaient très sales. Après mon arrivée, j'ai pris contact avec le concierge du ménage des lieux. Il est venu sur les lieux pour vérifier et m'a dit qu'il avait eu des problèmes avec son personnel d'entretien et a décidé d'envoyer quelqu'un le jour suivant. Dans le contrat, il était spécifié que le ménage de la villa était inclus dans le prix, une fois par semaine. le ménage que la dame est venu faire était celui qui aurait été dû être fait à notre arrivée. C'est le seul ménage qui a été effectué dans la villa. Après cela, les serviettes du groupe précédent ont été déposées dans la laveuse et nous avons dû les achever. Une des plus belles plages se trouvait à Tamarindo avec un sable magnifique à 25 minutes de la villa. L'aide apportée par le concierge pour la réservation d'un catamaran et la réservation d'un taxi a été très appréciée.

Three Families at the Villa

The house was as shown if not bigger. We had 3 families with 5 kids and 6 adults and there was more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with items needed to make any meal. A nice grocery store was around 20min from the house. We spent hours at the pool or the beach club a 10 minute golf cart drive away. If you have kids or teenagers the golf cart is so fun for them. The JW Marriott is very close too if you want a nice lunch by the ocean or spa day. The consceierge

The house was awesome. We had a chef named Luis cook breakfast and dinners for us and it was amazing . We had a driver for the entire week named Herson who was more than a driver he took care of everything we did outside of property. Truly an amazing experience

Gorgeous House in Gorgeous Area

First trip to Costa Rica for several of us in the family and we were not disappointed thanks to the amazing Casa Marbella and Omar and Andres, our concierge reps. First impression of the house was jaw-dropping… beyond a beautiful home - it was more than what we were expecting. The open kitchen and family room leading to the gorgeous pool made it easy for our large family of 15 to hang out. The grounds were impeccable, and being next to the JW Marriott was a win-win as well as being next to the beach club, which gave us options. Definitely recommend renting cars so you can explore the surrounding areas. Diana was wonderful at communicating and great to work with. We’ve decided this will become a family tradition and look forward to staying at casa marbella next year. TIP: many local cevicherias - purchase to go with bring it back so you can enjoy it by the pool with a cold beer and some tortilla chips! Will definitely need a car if you plan to do your own grocery shopping to cook a few meals, which is what we ended up doing since prices at tourist restaurants $$$$. Best family vacation ever!! Perfect

Our travel group consisted of 3 families with teenagers, totaling 10 people. The house was very comfortable, spacious & most importantly clean. Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms were occupied by parents, teens for other rooms. Master beds were very comfortable. Grounds were well kept & lush. We enjoyed watching the wildlife-monkeys, raccoon, birds, chameleon, squirrels & bats in the backyard. Pool was clean & so refreshing to dip in after a day of activities. Beach was an easy walk or golf cart drive. Beach Club was nice but we enjoyed hanging out at the house pool more. Concierge service was so helpful. Omar always responded quickly to our questions & took care of whatever was needed. We enjoyed all our tours-catamaran/snorkeling, zip lining, horseback riding & white water rafting. Omar was great at getting us lined up with the tour & transportation if we decided not to drive ourselves. Our house-mom, Veronica was the greatest. She was so sweet & fit right in. Highly recommend her! Overall, no complaints on the house. If we ever go back, we would definitely rent again!

The house was beautiful. Omar was very helpful. We enjoyed going to the beach club and the pool. Great vacation! Saw lots of monkeys:)

Wonderful area for family

By chance, I found Casa Marbella for my family vacation. Little did I know about the Hacienda Pinilla community! It was a wonderful area with 3 private beaches, beach club, golf, horseback riding and mountain biking! And your own Howler Monkeys hanging in the trees to entertain the kids! Casa Marbella was perfect with a beautiful pool, ample space for us to spread out. We ate out and cooked meals in. Modern grocery store not far away. We utilized the owners golf cart and rented a second. We used these all the time to get around the community. The only downside was no water pressure in one bathroom and lack of some basic supplies in the kitchen. The concierge team was most helpful in giving suggestions and arranging for transportation to/from airport and having car delivered directly to the house. Would return in a heartbeat! For restaurants definitely Lola’s and Il Rustico and the Hacienda Beach Club is great for drinks, lunch and dinner. Playa Avellana and Playa Langosta are beautiful.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing experience. The house was just what we needed with 3 families. It was a close walk to the beach or a short ride on a golf cart to the beach club. The concierge service was THE BEST. They were responsive and very helpful. I can't wait to go back again!

This home and location is a paradise, perfect for our family's passions and joys.

We built this home to enjoy our vacations together with family and friends and have others enjoy it too. We are a very active family. The surrounding areas have so much to offer us from surfing and boogeyboarding to Golf, open trails, mountain biking trails horseback riding , night lit tennis with pro, pickleball, ,4 beautiful private beaches to walk and relax on. Everything we love doing is right here less than 5 minutes away.

There is plenty to do here. Surfing, boogey boarding every day, right on the Beach Club Beach, fishing, diving can be organized as well as snorkeling sunset cruises, swimming in warm clean clear water on beautiful empty beaches, tennis and golf, delicious fresh fish and steak in inexpensive outdoor beachfront restaurants , wonderful friendly people.. in a very upscale safe private beautiful environment away from all the crowds. What more can one wish for?
Cleaning and cooking service available for $12-15 per hour ( 3 hour minimum) for meals prepared with prebought groceries. Extra charge after 5 pm + taxi. contact our concierge service for details and if you wish to prestock before arrival and/or might like a welcome meal.
