The nearby beaches in Playa Blanca are some of the most beautiful on the island. Playa Flamingo in the middle of Playa Blanca is safe for children and offers various restaurants on a long beach promenade. If you like to keep it natural, you are at the right place in the nearby famous Playa Papagayo. This is with its small beautiful sandy bays under nature protection and I have never seen it overrun.
