The Pine Needle at Needles Townhomes (#150) is our comfortable 3-bedroom and 3-bath home just 3 miles south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 miles north of historic downtown Durango. It is a mountain-styled home with open living area, private decks and easy, paved access. It is adjacent to the iconic Old School Pizza as well as across the highway from the Needles Market and Gas station. There is parking in front of the townhome (there is no garage access).

This condo has plenty of comfortable seating in the living and dining areas and features a deck with a propane grill. The deck expands over to the dining room area, with seating for meals at the table and the kitchen bar. There is a washer/dryer in the home. Even though not in photos, every bedroom now has a TV. The fireplace is currently NOT operational - needs extensive repair.

LOCATION: Needles Townhomes sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just a short distance from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
